Booked it based on the trip adviser score and the fact the price was very reasonable for the quality and amenities. We were a little worried about location as neither of us had been to Hong kong before, however don't let it's position put you off. The public transport system is excellent and we had no difficulty getting anywhere in Hong Kong from the hotel. There are buses every few minutes that pass right outside, we tended to jump on one of the north bound buses and hop off at hong kong university mtr which was less than 10 minutes away, then hop on a train to central again these were every 5 or 10 minutes. We took the A10 bus from the airport to get to the hotel which again was her easy as the bus has a digital screen showing the various stops so it was simply a case of pressing the stop button once the pok fu lam village stop was next., the hotel is pretty much opposite the bus stop so was easy to find. It is a training hotel so some of the staff were a little unsure of themselves and occasionally we had an issue with the language barrier but they just call in the more experience staff and it's sorted. The hotel was extremely clean and well run, the room was large with a bath and large walk in shower we had an ocean view the rooms on the other side have a view of the peak ( there are 2 routes up to the peak and Victoria peak from the road the hotel is on which give some great views) there isn't a great deal of local restraunts , but the hotel menu was very reasonably priced and the kennedy area of hong kong is 10 minutes away by bus and has lots of restraunts and cafes. They also give you a handy phone, which is a pre loaded mobile you can take with you on your trips out so you are never without internet, you can even load up your own facebook accounts etc. We found this very useful , especially as it meant we had access to Google maps. Great hotel and we would deffo stay again, one tip if you have a while between check out and your flights hong kong station has check in desks for most major airlines so we just took our luggage to the the train station and checked them in, collected our boarding passes leaving us the rest of the day to spend in Hong Kong.

We stayed at the T Hotel for 4 nights and it was an amazing experience. From the accommodations to the student staff, we couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay at the T Hotel. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong and being able to experience the side of Hong Kong Island most tourists never see. Although the hotel is on the back side of Victoria Peak, it was an easy and quick ride to Hong Kong central district via the city bus system, taxi or the hotel shuttle. The student staff were a delight to interact with. Everything about the facility from the front desk to the restaurant to the room was far above what we were expecting.
I highly recommend the T Hotel if you want a 4-star experience at an incredible price.

Isn't it amazing when your expectations and the reviews match perfectly with your actual experience at a property? We absolutely loved our stay at The T Hotel.

1. Smooooth pre-checkin and check-in: All my queries prior to the actual stay were handled perfectly well by Oscar, one of the trainee students from front desk.

2. View to die for: The room had a gorgeous view: The perfect mix of ocean and urban life (half and half). It had a huge glass window, length of the entire room, so nothing comes in the way of your view!

3. Amenities: The room was perfectly equipped with all the basic amenities, and some even more than basic, such as a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. It has a well-equipped gym.

4. High-tech: The room was super high-tech, which included a bathtub with a screen in front with select TV channels, a glass separating the bathroom and living room, which becomes either see-through or opaque at the click of a button!! The lighting and air conditioning were managed by a separate all-in-one control device. A separate handset was provided for use in the room, with which you can make free international calls from within the room only!

5. An amazing overhead and hand shower!!

6. Courteous staff: Our phone chargers needed a different socket. They arranged for it promptly! All the students, and in fact the entire staff, greets you with a genuine hearty smile, which just makes your day.

7. The view from the dining area is perhaps the best I've experienced so far. It was gorgeous!

8. The buffet spread was fine, but I had expected more from a property that specializes in culinary skills, in terms of more variety. I'd rate it 8/10.

9. Proximity and convenience: The main bus stop is literally at the entrance of the hotel, less than a minute's walk. Even the A10 that goes to the airport. It was extremely convenient to go anywhere from the hotel without having to rely on a taxi or Uber.

The concept of training young ones in hospitality and tourism is brilliant and well perfected. The hotel provides excellent service. The staff, including the trainees are excellent. Before arrival, the staff helped with my transportation to the hotel. I was given all options from Public Bus A10 {HKD 48} which goes directly from the Airport to the hotel, to the more luxurious limo service. The bus stop is opposite the hotel. On arrival. I met a friendly and welcoming staff at the door and reception. I was escorted by two students to my room. The restaurant serves very good food. The price for food and drinks at the hotel is very reasonable. Superb service. Easy to move around the city from the hotel. Quiet environment. Clean and quality rooms

I do wish I’d booked The T Hotel for our 14 night stay, rather than just for 5 nights. You want for nothing, & you never so much as even have to push the lift button or open a door for yourself. Not that I expect people to wait on me, but this place is one of the best that I ever stayed at in my life. The room was big by HK standards, well furnished, with a decent sized wardrobe, complete with iron, ironing board, a torch, safe, fridge, complimentary tea, coffee, & water. There’s a separate bathroom (not a cubicle in the corner) complete with powerful shower, & bath tub, plenty of hot water, & loads of toiletries too. Beds were king size, firm but comfy, & there was a pillow menu. It really was a room with a view as it overlooked the China sea. We had a few meals here which were quite tasty, & not really expensive. There’s a superb view from the dining area too, & a large balcony if you fancy sitting out. The location is set in Pokfulam Village, one side of the road there’s the tin roof homes, the other is the estate with the high rise blocks. If you cross over the road when you get outside of the hotel & just follow the road up until you come to the small bus station, cross the road, there you will find a shopping centre with many cheap eats, & shops, this is just a 7 minute walk from the hotel. For buses to Aberdeen & Stanley cross over the road, for Central & Ferry Piers you can get the bus just outside the hotel. You can easily get the A10 bus from the airport to the hotel, & pay with the Octopus card. This takes just over an hour & you get off at stop 26, cross the road, go right, then left, & follow the road up to the hotel which you will see on the right. We had a fantastic time at the T Hotel & were treated like royalty. It was so peaceful here, there was no people noise, no room doors constantly slamming, or any traffic noise, it was absolute bliss! If you fancy a real treat then I’d recommend that you stay here.
