The spacious room, the tranquil area. There is a bicycle park in front of the hotel; we rode bikes every few mornings. Things that we didn't get to do much back home Friendly concierge, good location with different transport links, tablet controlled settings for the room, good sized pool (would have liked it to be heated!)

Overall our room was clean and comfy (bed is not really big though), good soundproofing. The service was good, we asked for a few extra things and got them right away. No weird smells in the hallways or room, which is important for us. Good air conditioning. Good quality of breakfast

This was our first stay in the ALVA Hotel although we were very familiar with this area of Hong Kong. The hotel well exceeded our expectations. We stayed for more than two weeks during the Christmas and New Year holidays and whilst the hotel was always busy the service provided by the ALVA hotel team was really very good. The food in the hotel was high quality and great value. Our room was comfortable and warm during the cooler weather of December and the lady who serviced the room kept it clean and well provisioned. We will definitely return to the ALVA hotel for our next visit to Hong Kong.

Hotel far from airport but there is a direct bus (A441) to just outside the hotel. Cost about HKD 23.5 per person.
Service was very good. Staff was most helpful in giving directions and tip on where to go if you needed a specific item. Cannot remember the room attendants name but she really was very polite and took care of our requests. She attended the 21st floor and looked after our room 2127. Very much appreciated her efforts.
Breakfast was well spread with Korean, Chinese and Western type cuisines.
Did not try the other outlets as there was a free shuttle bus service from hotel to Shek Mun MTR station and around the e area loads of small shops catering noodles and rice and deserts. Most outlets open a around 1130am and shut at around 9.30pm.
Overall a very pleasant stay because it was away from Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Mongkok the touristy area.
