I have been here for long stay and this is my third time stay.
This is a non smoking hotel. But each time i came to stay. There were some people smoking in their rooms. The corridor was full of cigarettes smoking smell. And the ventilation system was unable to clear up.
I complained every time and they only provide me another room on another floor , but this didn’t solve the problem, because there was someone in that another floor smoked and they could not detect. Cigarettes smell everywhere again.
They did not have the capacity to detect, to control, to deter people smoking.
In my previous stay, just adults, but this time , i have my children together. Children felt cigarettes smoke so irritative , they also had allergic reaction to the chemical fragrance spray. severe running nose , sneezing and blocked nose all night .
Need to take medication to decrease the symptoms.
And this time i stay for 30 days. So I must do my best to protect my children .
I complained to the front desk and he just refer to the in charge.
But the manager just called me back and said they could do nothing to stop people smoking tonight but to wait for tomorrow morning that the housekeepers would search for evidence of cigarettes smoking when they make up rooms.
This is ridiculous to me.
I said “ if you cannot provide a truly non smoking area to occupants as what the hotel promise to provide during booking, I have no choices but to leave the hotel for my children health sake, and the remaining unused nights should be refunded “
This location is good for me to visit my relatives so i choose this hotel again although price is higher than other nearby hotel. But, if this time , same fault without correction, i must leave and never come back again.
