I made the booking through one of the online hotel booking platform (bxxxing.com) for 2 adults and 1 kid which the package I choose is included breakfast. The confirmation I received from the online platform also confirmed that my room (Deluxe Room with 2 queen beds)maximum for 4 guests and breakfast included. When I call to hotel to double check my booking and I have been informed that my booking only included breakfast for 2 adults and need to pay for the kid if he/she needs a breakfast. Hotel informed me that the breakfast price is $118+10% and it is because the online platform format which hotel cannot state this information and they suggest me to call the online platform to check again. Then, I called the online bxxxing.com, they said this is the hotel policy to include 2 breakfasts per room no matter you have booked for 3 persons, they have helped to call again the hotel and reconfirmed the additional breakfast price is $118+10% per mea for kid. When I check in, the FO staff told me again that the breakfast price now increased to $128+10% and I can only enjoy my breakfast from 7:00am-8:20am. I feel very surprised that the breakfast price increased so suddenly, FO staff told me the price was just increased last night! It is not because the $10 different but why don’t hotel inform us the updated price (I believe when I and bxxxking.com call to hotel to check, they should know our staying date). I also feel very surprise that I can only enjoy my breakfast at 7:00-8:20am which I never see this information when o make the booking via bxxxing.com. FO staff finally offered me to have my breakfast at 8:40-10:00am. It is so funny that when I check the breakfast price on the hotel website and the the iPad in room, the breakfast price is still $118+10%. Even the receipt from restaurant also showed $118+10%! I really hope the management can look into the case!

This is the second stay at Alva Hotel By Royal, Hong Kong with my wife and the crowds are as usual on weekend at lobby. We met Leo, the Duty Manager again and he offered us an attentive service to us and assign the same room for us which is requested when making the reservation.

Despite the long queue as expected, a special thanks to Leo and Ted who are super responsive and gave us a clear understanding of when the earliest rooms available.

My family and I have high praise for them and their diligence and professionalism.

It is our first time to stay and dine in Alva hotel. It is definitely a memorable one. Both our kids and us enjoy the stay so much.
We got a upgraded room as the check-in staff noticed our birthday in July.
We had dinner buffet at the hotel. Staff at the restaurant are really caring and friendly even my kids do make a mess. The food quality is good.

Staff, Mr Ted Wong, offers us attentive assistance when we come to the lobby asking for the shuttle bus service.

There is a bicycle park opposite the hotel and bicycles are available to rent from the hotel.
I really recommend this hotel for family stay.
