Modern, well-priced hotel

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 3 Jun 2024
Basic but sufficient facilities. More information about services would have been nice (wasn't aware there was a basic breakfast included nor that the 2nd floor - lounge -was out of commission on certain days). HK preaches a no plastic rule so water needs to be obtained via a supplied glass bottle in the room. The bottom of the glass bottle decided to just burst apart by my simply unscrewing the top...! No smashing, just under normal room temperature for hours and my unscrewing the cap off. Bed sheets are tidied up, not replaced on lengthy stays, floors are fully tiled which makes it feel cleaner in some ways. Shower on 9th floor was reasonably strong and shower was pretty spacious compared to some 5* hotels but no bath. Basic open-air gym with laundrette which feels a little expensive; 60 hkd for wash and 50min dry. This is my 2nd time here.

The location of the hotel was excellent with only a short walk to two major stations and very close to a department store. The staff was also excellent and were more than happy to assist myself in getting a Taxi to the station which was much appreciated.

Hotel is clean and good size. Double bed super comfy. Check In / out process easy with no queues. Location is about 5 mins from Mong Kok MTR. Convenient location for walking to main touristy places. As solo female found the area to be safe. Shower and toilet separate. Sink in bedroom. Odd layout but guess good idea if multiple people sharing room. Laundry facilities on 2nd floor. You need to buy 2 tokens for $50 total from reception to use washer and dryer.

Negative was there was only 1 place where you could fit a hand luggage size case. No suitcase stand in room. Also, no where to hang towels to dry other than back in the towel cupboard which is inside shower cubicle. Hairdryer wired into drawer under sink and wire wasn't quite long enough to dry hair without stretching wire which felt like getting arm workout everytime I dried hair. I'm only 5'3.

Would definitely stay again though just for the cleanliness and location.

Room tip: Don't follow Google map for MTR. Takes you all over the place.

We had the good experience in the hotel before. Maybe the heavy raining/connection issue, no wifi connection in the room.

Not good value for money, for this cost you can better service and larger room, my personal opinion for two night stay from 10-13 april 2024. close to michelin star restaurant around mongkok, breakfast has freeflow bread, coffee and water ( provided ) and basic gym equipment for 24 hours. I request hand towels and extra waters ( on 12, 13 room services said ok but nobody come , that only room service I requested one time per day nothing more )

This hotel offers a neat environment and a great travel place for visitors to stay near the Mong-Kok subway station. I am so happy to stay there for three nights, and will introduce it to my friends when they travel to Hong Kong in the near future. Highly recommend!
