Wow. What a hotel. Beautiful interior spaces, lovely rooms, amazing staff and great views.
We arrived a couple of hours early for check in but gladly accepted a refreshment and then went to wander the connected K11 mall. We returned, still before official check-in time and were taken up to our room early. I was shocked and so pleased when it turned out that we had been given a free upgrade in celebration of my missed 30th birthday.
We had such a beautiful room with a long balcony and stunning views over the harbour. A birthday cake and balloon had been left for me and it was just the loveliest beginning to a fantastic stay.
I had fractured my foot prior to checking in to K11 Artus and was grateful when, at breakfast, staff would help me sit down and would take my walking stick. That little touch was really appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever I encountered them. I’d like to shout out a few members of staff specifically (and sincere apologies if I have their names wrong):
Jimmy checked us in and out and said hello to me every time he saw me. A very friendly guy and very helpful.
Cathay worked on the front desk and stayed with us when we waited for our airport taxi. She had a keen interest in learning about us and our stay.
Cecilia the hotel manager was an absolute star when I bumped into her on checkout. My flight wasn’t until almost midnight and considering my fractured foot, let me use another room for a few hours. That was such a huge help and was extremely generous of her.
All in all, a fantastic trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
