We had a very nice staycation experience at K11 Artus. My daughter celebrated her 18th birthday. We booked the Artus Harbour Two ( 2 bedrm unit for family of 5 facing harbour view ), we were on the 17th floor.
The check-in procedure at the Lobby didn’t take that long, just needed to fill up the health declaration form and then we walked through our room. The hotel staff who showed us around was friendly. My daughter was so happy to receive a birthday cake with nice decoration on the table. Thanks to Danny Sek, the Guest Relations for preparing this special treat for her. We also got some small snacks and drinks from the mini bar for free. There 2 bathrooms are quite spacious. There’s a bath tub in one of the rooms and both ensuite have automatic water closets. The wardrobe area is quite spacious as well. We also received bath salts each as souvenirs.
At that time, K11 Musea mall was so crowded and busy and some restaurants were not available to deliever food at K11 Artus because of the recent case at the mall so we just decided to order dinner from Deliveroo so that we can enjoy our stay. As advised by a hotel staff from the Lobby, once we ordered food delivery, we don’t need to go down to pick it up, instead the hotel staff will bring the food delivery to our room. That being said, I instructed the Deliveroo guy to go to K11 East Entrance Lobby and give my full name at the reception ( because the booking is under my name ). So I thought it was hassle-free, we can sit back, relax and wait for our food delivery. We got preoccupied and hooked up on several video calls from our families abroad so when I notice that the food was a bit late, I called the Deliveroo guy and he was so upset, I was told that the receptionist didn’t accept the food delivery just because my name was not in the guest list, she denied and didn’t even apologize and told me she need to check with her colleague but the guy confirmed it was her. I really don’t want to spoil my daughter’s birthday and we were already hungry so I was the one to apologize to the poor Deliveroo guy, let it all pass and brought my food delivery to our room. I already mentioned this when I checked out today and he was the one who expressed apologies on behalf of her colleague.
Overall, our stay was very pleasant, the staff at the Lobby was friendly. We will definitely come back for another staycation weekend.
