“The price is about right for the style of buffet they provide here”

We book a table here one evening for the price they tempt us--50% discount. So, instead of 400 something we pay HK$240 each. The layout of the food is simple and not much choice but is just fine for us. We don't want overwhelming buffet restaurant like the one we've been to once in Spain. All the usual food like sushi, fried rice, noodles, salad, soup you can find them here. As two of us do not like oyster it's no loss to us even though that oyster counter serves the long queue of people only one round. Hotel buffets are in hot competition, so to speak. The kind of price we are paying is just fine for the kind of food they provide here. The downside being we are rushed to pay the bill after an hour and a quarter since we sit down.

Invited a few friends for dinner.
Hotel ads champion a n all U can eat Oysters buffet!
What they did not say, was that there was NO selection, just one variety of rock oysters in the 1/2 shell.( I had expected a variety of oysters from wherever. cf other Seafood buffets in some HK hotels!)
Sushi, salmon sashimi, roast sirloin(aust) , rack of lamb.. (China origin, so tough n dry?). Some stir fry Cantonese dishes, Tom Yum noodle soup, with 2 ,(15/18 size king prawns)
And some salads, and other dishes. Hot n cold.
Friends enjoyed it..but from my memory bank, I can recall better seafood/ oyster buffets
further down the road . But at a little more expense!
Overall, for hk$400+ it was ok, 5-5/10... no choice of oysters, tough "lamb".. it is a tight budget!
Desserts.. ok.5-5/10
No self serve auto coffee machine(?). It's there for breakfast???

We booked a table for 4 persons. Welcome and seating, is professional handled. Even all the tables are occupied, with the number of people going to the buffet, food was not plentiful and the staff repleshing the trays to slow and too little, which result with too many empty food trays. Offer is average and not really palatable as expected. Overal score is mediocar the say the least. I highly suggest the management will lift the controls on the buffet service, repleshimen, enough food with better varieties. Not recommended.

Went for a dinner buffet last Saturday (4.2.2017) for family's gather (birthday), and found the seafood was supposedly cool but all warm, no ice to keep them cold. Whilst the hot food were all cold already, despite the taste was kind of awful with poor temperature control. Food Temperature is definitely a key factor to keep hygiene!! My family is disappointed about the food quality and choices here, and 2 of them (total 6 pax) were having diarrhea / weird stomach after this meal. Certainly not recommend to my friends and families.

I found the food to not be hot at all. It was barely warm. The whole time we were here it was seafood themed. There was not a lot of variety if you don't eat seafood. My husband who doesn't eat seafood wasn't too keen. All the staff were friendly.
