Great stay at The Beacon to explore Hong Kong

We booked a Superior Room for 5N/6D trip with 2 twin beds. We rated 5 stars because it met our requirements particularly being a non-smoking hotel - great location where we can access Mongkok and Mongkok East train stations, access to great foods, markets - key highlights of Mongkok without having to travel far to other areas; room was clean, comfy beds and I thought the idea of having one soft pillow and one hard pillow was very thoughtful, bathroom was good for our needs with all the basic essentials; and the service was fantastic when we requested for early check-in since they had available room ready for us. I like that they provide a big bottle of water daily for us, and the control of single use of disposable plastic toiletries. Always a comfortable place to return for rest after a day out. Very well-priced for what they offer and I will definitely return to stay at this hotel for my future HK vacation.

This hotel is nothing fancy, just a good hotel in the middle of vibrant Ming Kok. It was perfect for our stay, a good price, friendly staff, a little off the tourist trail and with easy access to the airport by A21 bus.
Our dual aspect room on the 19th floor was small but perfectly laid out with a great shower!

Room tip: If you are catching the bus back to the airport, be aware that it can be very busy. So you may have to stand the whole way.

I was quite skeptical about living in Mongkok (hotel booked by wife). Was quite surprised when I reached the hotel, clean, friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t really like was the size of the room, the Manager, Angus offered us a good rate for the suite and we took it. No regrets after that. Hotel is closed to the train station, plenty of food around it. (Ichiran Ramen is just below) will definitely stay here the next time I go to Hong Kong! Keep up the good work.

Room tip: Their coffee at the 3rd floor pantry is awesome. 😁

From the outside, it looks amazing from its design. The room is cozy having a home feeling. The pillow and blanket are comfortable and just good. Nice place and clean. Also lobby smell good, it feels like orange or some fruits. Besides, Staffs are very friendly no matter front desk and housekeeping, service was great!

Great location of this boutique hotel, as it's situated in Mongkok that easy to access everywhere in HK. The staff are friendly, room cleanliness is super, great bathroom amenities with everything ready for your need under this reasonable price. Surely, will return to stay again in the future.
