For 25 years I have been coming to Hong Kong. In my opinion, Hyatt is the best and reliable brand in Asia-Pacitic. I am now top tier Globalist and plan to stay at many Hyatts in Asia-Pacific as I have. However, my previous review I was live with The Regent Hong Kong as it is the best of the best and the best views with large sized rooms . Better than The Peninsula. Sheraton is very old and not pursuing Marriott status at all. I however stand by my visits to Hyatt Regency Tsim Tsa Tsui over The Regent (which I do love) as it was significantly more expensive and I have the perks of the lounge, breakfast, great location and the staff are extremely attentive and kind.
The location is absolutely great. Right in the middle of Tsim Tsa Tsui. The hotel is very comfortable and very nice. Very good harbour views from the rooms. The rooms are not huge but they aren't tiny either . Very comfortable.
The Club Lounge is nice and the staff are amazing. Elsa is a major asset to the hotel. Everyone was very kind and attentive. The food was very good. Way better than the burger I had at The Peninsula( major rip off ).
Lam the doorman was very helpful. I feel Hyatt provides a very consistent positive experience throughout its brand. As opposed to Marriott where you can have a very nice hotel and have a very old hotel where it feels like a 3 star like The Sheraton. That is why I stick with Hyatt. Hyatt Regency Tsim Tsa Tsui is a very solid 4 star hotel in a great location. Solid 5 stars I recommend The Regent or Rosewood. I am happy with Hyatt Regency Tsim Tsa Tsui as I enjoy my Globalist benefits .In North America or Europe, it would be 2-3xs more expensive.
I really enjoyed my stay at Hyatt Regency Tsim Tsa Tsui and plan the stay there again soon.
