This is a hidden gem offering quality & creative Japanese & French fusion food. My husband & I mainly went for lunch, trying out their Japanese version, vegetarian sushi platter for me, unagi eel for my husband & grilled fish for our host. I was impressed by the skill and the artistic display on top of the taste. The management thinks outside the box providing for vegetarian like myself. I read that they have Japanese tasting menu for vegetarian too (only for dinner) which I will try next time. I also heard that they offer French high tea set at only $250 per head.

近日朋友間大讚的餐廳,莫過於位處銅鑼灣核心地段的Dining at Murasaki。

餐廳的入口處跟另一間餐廳重叠,小心去錯隔離。

入口處的擺設檯,極具心思,空間感強烈,座位組合多變,適合不同的客人。

餐廳走法日Fusion菜路線,分成不同的區域,各自有著獨立的空間,部份更可以靠近避風塘景致,只可惜近年有工程,影響景觀,相信竣工後,風景會更佳。

如果想要私隱度,廂房有獨立洗手間,可說是照顧周到。

開動前,先送上店家自製的合桃包及baugette,而伴碟的黑松露牛油與及煙肉牛油同樣是自家製,香軟幼滑,尤其是煙肉牛油是店方特製,帶有煙肉的碎粒,口感獨特。

Spanish Langoustine

小龍蝦新鮮得似在碟裡爬出來,蝦肉爽彈得來又鮮甜,置面的jelly,是用鰹魚湯做加黑色海鹽製成,再澆上醬汁,慢慢變成艷麗的紫色,跟店名緊緊相扣,難怪是店方名物,好睇又好食。

Seasonal Sashimi (3 kinds)

很有趣的組合,當中最吸睛的一定是中間的北海道海膽,入口即溶的感覺,真是令舌尖好好地享受了一次;金目鯛刺身配上蜜瓜青瓜汁,把魚肉的鮮味增加了甜美; 拖羅他他放上三文魚籽,以鱈魚片墊底,在軟柔的口感中,多了一份脆口。

Matsutake Mushroom

賣相一絕,泥土是麵包混和白面豉及竹炭粉,咬落柔韌有嚼口,實在有趣。

松茸jelly帶有獨特的香氣,加上爆珠珠在口中迸裂的感覺,就顯得更加清新。

Truffle Yuba

誠意度爆燈,用大阪豆乳自家製腐皮作層層叠,在層與層之間加入松露醬與及黑松露片,瀰漫著天然的幽香,在舌尖徘徊的感覺令人回味。

Sustainable Cod Fish

先煎香鱈魚,加入蕃茄熬煮,把鱈魚的鮮味都吊出來,最神來之筆是炸得卜卜脆的魚皮,絕對不能錯過。

Eringi Mushroom Noodles

望落根本是白麵條,完全呃晒,簡單的加入面豉同蔥花,煙韌彈牙,只是略嫌Moro Miso過於重手,有改善的空間。

Japanese Abalone Stone Rice

大家可要小心石鍋,因為早已預熱,鮑魚切片,吃之前注入鮑魚昆布湯,又可以加入海苔、蔥花之類,增添香氣,湯底清甜,用來泡飯一流。

Beef Teppanyaki (US)

牛肉的質素好得沒話說,薄切下只略為煎香,仍保留了肉汁,卷起了蒜片及切得細碎的惹花,入口一陣濃香,相當的吸引。

Murasaki Signature Fried Rice

未上檯已經傳來陣陣香氣,就算幾飽都挑起了食慾,以 bacon、uni、櫻花蝦、蛋及蔥花作配料,比例恰到好處,沒多餘的油份,櫻花蝦的幽香令整個炒飯增添了層次,相當精彩。

Popping Candy

以白蘭地jelly、山桃雪葩配以荔枝、桔子及石榴珍珠,未食先澆上米漿,陣陣甜香已經夠誘人,咬落先是感到QQ的質感,當一爆開,果香味即時湧現。

不論服務、環境及食物,都是預期的出色,往往帶來了驚喜,最難得的是,侍應對客人的提問對答如流,對菜色的認知深,而且上菜的速度調節得恰到好處,下次跟太太慶祝結婚周年,相信又是一個上佳選擇。

Chose the signature omakase dinner, which was not the most affordable, but you could tell that the restaurant spares no expense from cutleries to ingredients, so in the end it was worth every penny.

The dishes were inventive while being a feast for both the eyes and stomach. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a special place for a special meal.

p.s. service was very attentive and patient in explaining any questions regarding the food.

Excellent food in comfortable and lush surroundings. Fantastic service with staff going the extra mile to make it a fabulous experience. Definitely worth a try for any serious foodie!

What a great friends night with ambient atmosphere, dainty dishes, meticulous presentation near by the harbour. Definitely more to come.
