After seeing this delicious dish posted by PJ Moments I had to go and try it.
The dish I was after is available during lunch so went for lunch.

Dining at Muraski is spacious and has lots of tables with good privacy.
There is also a private room that can host lots of people as well.

For the lunch set, you get salad, steamed egg, mains, rice, pickles and dessert.

Started with salad which was crisp and sweet with a mix of greens.
The steamed egg was tasty crammed with lots of seafood topped with pretty salmon roe.
Personally I am not a fan of Japanese steamed egg but the one here was the best I have ever tried.

For the soup, it was red miso which is my favourite because it has a strong smell and miso taste.
Moving on to the Murasaki Chirashi, it looked just exactly like the photos, topped with uni, salmon roe, cucumber and egg.
The best thing is that it comes with a side of crispy sakura shrimps which have been roasted in the oven so it has a super crispy texture.
The rice gives you ricegasm without the crispy shrimps but when you add them, the flavour comes out even more and you can't stop eating it.
I wish there was more crispy shrimps!!
But anyway, the salmon roe, uni, crispy shrimps and cucumber just taste amazing together with the rice.
We also shared the sashimi which was fresh and delicious.
The lunch came with mango sorbet which was a sweet ending but we also had the highly recommended popping candy which was crazily delicious.
I was literally expect popping candy but it was Mandarin, lychee and guava pearls with pear brandy jelly and peach crushed ice with rice soup poured on it.
The pearls pop in your mouth with this heavenly liquid. The lychee and mandarin were my favourite and all the elements were not too sweet.

I was here for company's manager dinner, our bosses have booked their VIP room that sits 24 and was generous enough to treat each and everyone of us their signature 'Murasaki Omakase' menu that costs at HK$1,288 per person. At first, the prices seem steep, but once we finished our meal, we all agree that the experience worth every penny spent. Will definitely go back again with my family to celebrate the upcoming festive seasons.

Highly recommend their Abalone Stone Rice and their Iberico Pork Pluma. What surprises me most is their dessert, very creative and yet extremely tasty.

近日,我收到一個相信是素食人士的喜訊,是一間在銅鑼灣信和廣場內新開業的日本菜同法國菜的 fusion 餐廳,名叫《紫》(Dining at Murasaki)。他們推出了一個純素食的 Yasai Omakase,所以,專程同好友一試。

全素食的 (Yasai Omakase),Yasai,也即是野菜,而這一個野菜的 Omakase,店方說明不會用鰹魚汁及木魚,也不會有蔥蒜。會有蛋、奶的出現,但可以按食客的要求,走埋蛋、奶。

首先來的,是 Matsutake Mushroom,松茸菇,松茸菇以一個類似果凍的東西包裹著,而這一個果凍是味噌湯味的,在底的,他們叫做泥,其實是加上了綠茶粉的麵包碎,配合味噌湯味果凍同松茸菇,味道非常之吻合。更吻合的,就是另外的兩粒水珠,這兩粒水珠也是味噌湯味的,入口即爆,感覺很特別。

之後,是一個 Warm Salad,外層的沙律菜,是生的,但內裡的粟米芯,牛榜等等,則是炒熟的,清新的蔬菜味在外,加上少少鹽香的蔬菜在內,的確是一個幾特別的沙律。


Maitake Mushroom, 舞茸菇湯。是一個純舞茸菇味的清湯。味道非常之濃郁,好濃郁的舞茸味道。如果用這一個湯來做高湯煮素菜,一定非常之美味。

大概食到一半了,店方會給一個少冰給大家清一清口中的 after taste。Yamamomo crashed Ice,是一個加入了山桃汁的冰,酸酸的,冷冷的,完美地把口腔中殘留的濃郁味道洗去。再正確一點,其實要去刷牙,而此店的洗手間,的確有牙具提供給客人,在吃到中段的時候,先清一清口腔的味道,再去刷一刷牙,再回來,品味下一道美食。

下一道美食叫 Rocks。是以薯蓉包裹著三種不同口味的芝士,有 brie, conte 同 blue cheese。由 brie 吃起,到 conte, 最後吃最濃味的 blue cheese。不過,對於我這一個重口味的人來說,這一次的 cheese 未夠濃味,不過,店方也就是擔心太過濃味道,客人受不了,所以是故事做得淡口少少而已。


之後的一道美食,叫做 Rice and Noodles。明顯地,就是飯同麵,飯就的確是飯,而麵,就比較特別。


Noodles,是麵嗎? 不是,是菇,是切了絲的杏鮑菇,把切了絲菇變成麵,可真是有心思及考功夫的食品,在"麵" 上,加上了麵豉同蔥花,稍為撈一撈再一起食,醬味菇味同樣香濃,入口的感覺也就是爽爽的,味道好又有心思,值回票價。

最後的一道美食,是甜品,是一份 Panna Cotta。奶凍的很香也很滑,加入了水果及酸酸味的沙冰,又酸又甜又有果香,令這一個 Omakase 出現一個甜美的結局。

我們同檯的三人,另叫了一份刺身大家分享。我們叫的一份刺身,是一 set 有九款不同的刺身,由櫻花蝦至拖羅,每一件刺身都新鮮甜美。所以,來這兒不吃 set,不吃 Omakase,只到 sushi bar 品味刺身,也是一件樂事。

精美的 Omakase,有葷的,也有素的。情人們,若身邊的另一位是素食者,或兩位都茹素,《Dining at Murasaki》的 Omakase,加埋此餐廳的環境及氣氛,是素食男女浪漫一餐的好選擇。
