We headed to what used to be our favourite restaurant and regretted it. The food was really substandard, service unhelpful and overpriced. This time we we asked if there were any vegetarian dishes for one of my sons. The senior waiter in the smart suit was as good as saying go away if you want vegetarian. He kept saying “NO, only pork” even when I asked about just vegetables. He should be sacked! My son had to leave us to find a meal for himself. To think we used to go to this restaurant every weekend for years!! Not anymore..

2nd time visited this restaurant. Last visit in 2012 ate their dim sum buffet. 2017 went for my friend's birthday cum gathering dinner. The service is good. Good is delicious.

We went for mid morning brunch at 10.30am on a weekday, which was an excellent time, not too crowded, though by the time we left, there were a lot more people. The dim sum is the usual selection, with good quality, plus they will make special dishes to order. Price was moderate and good value for money.
This is a large restaurant upstairs in a commercial building, the United Centre, which is directly accessible from Admiralty MTR station, exit D. Take the lift to the 4th floor, which opens into the foyer of the restaurant. There is a big picture window with a view over the city and another window looks onto a large internal courtyard with tropical vegetation. Some English spoken, but you don't really need it because the dim sum is served in the traditional way from trolleys, so you can just point at what you want. Recommended for a classic dim sum experience.

Went there for dim sum brunch on a Saturday morning.

They have push cart trolleys and waiters who have probably been working there for many years.

Well patronised by locals who could be seen reading their morning paper over dim sum.

Good reminder of what it was like in the dim sum restaurants of the past

Food was ok with the usual spread and standard fare of steamed and fried dishes.

If you are visiting Hong Kong for the first time I would recommend you to try.

We were taken there by friends who are long term residents of HK, a favourite place for them. We wouldn’t have had a clue how to get fed without them! That said, it was a great experience as our hosts kept the food coming and we loved everything they suggested, especially the mango pudding.
