This tour brought us to places we would not have found by ourselves and stories that we could easily missed if we just go through the major attractions. Recommended for those who want to know more that just the glitz and glamour of Hong Kong.

Also recommend visiting the Hong Kong Museum of History to contrast with the content in this tour.

Thank you Terry, It was a great tour. We will join your tour again.

When I say this is a tour of the real Hong Kong, I mean it. I was so impressed with our guide's morning tour, that I just had to follow up in the afternoon. It is gritty, real, and honest. This is not some happy-go-lucky (although our guide was very nice and cheerful,) propaganda filled, only-show-you-the-nice-parts-of-town, then drop you in a shopping district kind of tour. This is a tour that outlines how real Hong Kong citizens are dealing with the day-to-day life of "One Country - Two Systems." Educational, refreshing, and well worth your time.

P.S. I hope everyone is all right over there.

This is the tour to take if you want to go beyond the major tourist attractions. A great tour that was full of facts, issues and places that most would overlook if they were not from Hong Kong. The guides were great with answering all questions and researching those that they did not have the answers for. Take this tour first before going on the fancy major attraction tours.

Our guide was excellent. He spoke fairly slowly and clearly for those people whose first language was not English. He took us through the history of Hong Kong in a lively and personal way and showed us how these all related to the current issues. Arnie was very considerate about the heat and ensured there were plenty of opportunities to stand or sit in the shade. It was interesting hearing about the old colonial buildings as well as the new. Arnie answered everyone’s questions fully while making the answers interesting for us all. After the walk he assisted with recommendations and directions for other places to go - of interest, eating, shopping etc and how to get back to nearest MTR. I paid for this tour through trip advisor and felt it was worth every penny. Just one word of caution -when exiting the metro to meet up, go straight out at the top of the steps so that Mc Donald’s is on your right.
