The workmanship in the buildings were second to none. The gardens were beautifully manicured to perfection. Very relaxing visit. Well worth the look

More well known by the Chinese than westerners, but beautiful park on the other side of the forbidden city which is absolutely worth a few hours mooching about.

The Beihai Park scavenger hunt with Bespoke travel was the best way to experience Beihai park with the family. So many interesting places, stories and details to discover in one glorious place. Kids can’t believe they have learnt so much while having so much fun.

This is a pretty park to the NW of the Forbidden City that is enjoyed by many local families. You can rent boats in the summer and ice skates in the winter. There are a number of pathways to stroll for a relaxing afternoon.

We could see this park from the top of Jingshan park, especially its landmark white Dagoba. As it was near Jingshan park, we walked here after visiting Jingshan park. Quite nice to walk around, expecially around the lake.
