I have stayed in this hotel five times. The location is very good. The rooms are spacious and the internet service is very good. The breakfast is very good but will set you back about twenty dollars. Overall. a nice hotel.

I stayed here four nights for business and found the hotel to be clean and well kept. The staff is very attentive and spoke enough "hotel English" for me to get by. The Wifi was sketchy - worked okay sometimes but not all the time. The TV choices were pretty dismal.

The breakfast buffet is all you can eat with Western and Chinese options and the food is good. The buffet cost varied day to day (oddly enough) but was always in the $11-$12 range which is great for a hotel buffet.

There is a great restaurant across the street serving local dishes, and the food and prices are terrific. There is also a dumpling shop about 4 doors down that serves breakfast to the locals - no tourists in here. There is no English menu, no English spoken, and the food is all local and fantastic. I had a Chinese colleague to order for me and I loved it.

The hotel is about a 3.5 KM walk to Tiananmen Square and the forbidden City, or you can walk a block to the subway and take it three stops. If you have time to catch the ceremony to lower the flag in Tiananmen Square at sunset I recommend doing so.

The overall cost of the Hotel was very reasonable given the USD-RMB exchange, I ended up paying around $75 USD per night.

If you will go to Beijing in a business travels you should stay in the Broadcasting Hotel. Is one restfully place. They have a good service, and in the morning you could get the breakfast in the buffet, with a lot of varieties of food.

We booked suit for 4 nights availing special rate. Two rooms are big and good. One good bath room with bedroom with all facilities. Second wash room is with the seating room.
There is Chinese restaurant which is not vegetarian friendly. For India food one can go to Mirch Masal at Silk Street, about 10 minutes’ walk. Or can go to Taj Pavillion , about 15 minutes walk.
Staff is also good. Main issue is language.

The Beijing Broadcasting Tower Hotel in Chaoyang District is well appointed with friendly staff who believe in good service to their customers. Well situated to visit the Silk Street Market it makes a very good stay for the shopper vacationers.

Room tip: Rooms overlooking the Embassy quarter have the best views.
