This was my second trip staying at the Simba + Oryx Nature Camp in the past few years. I LOVE this place- it's beautiful and the staff is just amazing and so friendly and helpful.
Our lodge was very quiet, serene, and peaceful. The staff kept it extremely clean as well. At night you can hear the animals. At night, there are Masai men on staff to assist you to the main hotel. We met a lot of friends here and loved everyone we met. We did a 3 day safari through African Mentors Safaris- we highly recommend them as well. :)

The food was delicious- the chef was great. He was so creative and always served up amazing food.

We will be returning to Simba + Oryx! LOVELY stay. (See pictures!)

Room tip: We were in a very secluded room - #1. It was a little bit of a walk from the main hotel to our room but we loved the privacy!

This was my first trip to Mara through Bonfire adventures. The rates were very competitive. Since it was more a less a budget tour, it was a good deal. The rooms were quite good and loved the glass door which kind of gave a sense of security. Great view from the rooms. Not much variety in the meals but the food taste was quite good. Staff was friendly specially the Masai guards. Definite recommendation if you are on a limited budget.

We opted for these more solid structures to avoid the flimsy tents offered by the places. The place was clean and in the National Park with great views.
The rooms were equipped with good toilets/shower and wash basins, beds were comfortable and came with mosquito nets. The glass door overlooking the game park was the best feature.
We saw cattle and dogs but no other animals- although they’ve had giraffes and zebras.
Food was reasonable but service was great, always had 2 options plus a vegetarian one for dinner. Breakfast was standard and lunch was a packed one to take away.
Log fire near the bar was ace, they had a pool table also.
WiFi was non existent to very slow even in the reception.

Excellent services offered by the staff especially Miton who went out of his way to ensure our comfortable stay.

The place is very calm & slept like a baby until morning.

Fantastic view in the evening aided by moonlight & bright morning as sun rises.

I’d still go back again

Great place to stay in Masai Mara. Luxury ‘tents’ have glass fronts, solid roof and ensuite. Masai guards with spears escort you to the restaurant area in the evening although the only animals that come near are zebras. Apparently the red lights around the camp keep the lions away. Lots of lions seen on game drives though. Fabulous
