It was not easy to find, but the place is unique! Hidden wine bar with an interesting and wide choice of local georgian wines. Beautiful design and nice people. Situated in a historical cellar.

They have different types of decent chacha as well and some simple snacks. Wines come from different regions of Georgia, organic, limited edition natural wines etc. Its an opportunity to taste products from small regional wineries without leaving Tbilisi. I saw a bottle of rare Iago wine on a shelf, for example.

Recommend!

It's a bit tricky to find this place (but it kind of makes sense when the name of the bar is kontrabanda :D )but it's definitely worth it. Nice atmosphere, cool wines, great people, delicious Georgian cheeses. Seriously, I think it might become my favourite place for a glass of wine in the old town. Well done.
