If you just want a place to lay your head before or after a liveaboard vacation in Palau, then this is not a bad choice. You can guess that at the price, it is not going to have all the amenities of the more expensive hotels. The awkward part of staying here after a liveaboard is what to do between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM which is check in time. I went down to a local part, Long Island Park, and hung out for a very long time. A couple of things to know before you go. It is a shared bathroom. Not a problem for me. The bed, very small, was quite hard. Only one overhead light which is hard to read by. The pool was not operational while I was there. it is designed on the Japanese hostel formula and hence most of the guests are from Japan and young. Bottom line is if you want to save a lot of money and just need a place to put your head, this would work for you.

One single night + transfers in and out airport + breakfast. 105 $, very good price for Koror in palau.
the hotel itself is on the south of the island, quiet place, on the sea, but not on the beach.
On June very few costumers, the staff was very useful

It looks someone deleted my review so I will keep writting until it wont get lost. We were kind of unhappy here. We request sea view room, but we didnt get it despite the hostel was almost empty. We also find a huge spider in the kettle. Room was small and AC was old and so noisy that we couldnt get sleep. Only good thing is you are close to Sams tour and Carp restaurant. But I strongly do not recommend this place.

The guesthouse is basically working as accommodation for the Antelope diveshop's clients, and also for its employees.
We had a rough start with them, since they forgot to pick us up from the airport. Normally this wouldn't be much of a hassle, but at 4am there are no taxis at Koror airport. After things have been sorted out, they ended up by offering us the accomodation for the first night.
Rooms are basic, but clean. There are single and double rooms (club house), with shared bathrooms, and also deluxe rooms and the bamboo cottage, offering higher levels of comfort and privacy. We stayed 2 nights in a double room and 2 nights in the bamboo cottage. All was ok, except for the matresses, which require urgent replacement.
The breakfast was basic but good: there are several options (continental, Filipino, American, pancake, omelette, etc.) and one must book it the evening before. The continental option ($5) is cheaper then the others ($8).
The staff was friendly and courteous.

We also spent 1 day diving with them, which was easy because they are located on Malakal island, right on the water. We did 3 dives: Grass Land, Siaes Tunnel and Ulong Channel. They were all amazing. The dive guides/instructor, although not fluent in English, tried to brief us as they could and were really attentive to us during the dives.
We also did the Super Rock Islands tour with Antelope. They took us to: Milky Way, Jellyfish lake, Clam City, Long beach, Big Drop Off, Paradise and Natural Arch.

All in all, they really know what they are doing and are very friendly. We definitely recommend them. Nonetheless, if you don't speak Japanese, be prepared to deal with some communication hurdles.

Thank you for your review.

I apologize for your airport pick up matter, and I appreciate that you had good time to stay in Palau.
Our customers are mainly Japanese who sometimes has difficulty to communicate in English. But all of them try to communicate with other customers who spend same time at our accomodation and boats.
Your experience took you to Palau's famous and recommendable places. I wish you made a good memory about Palau's ocean.

I hope you had a good time in Palau and hope to see two of you again!
Risa
