“the best part about the gold museum”

Cafe San Alberto Museo Del Oro

good staff, great coffee. you can try different types of blends and choose how they can prepare it for you.

it's a great spot for a rainy day. you can add a so so pastry, which you probably won't flip over, since the specialty is the coffee.

don't get confused with the restaurant in the 2nd floor, this coffee house is located downstairs, before you begin your tour throughout the museum.

Had a latte here for 6500 COP, service was very friendly and professional with nice clothing style. The girl serving us had the cutest of smiles. Coffee was delicious, so very much recommended as also the coffee corner is quite cosy!

I bought a half kilo bag of coffee beans here to take home after visiting the Gold Museum. The barrista explained to me that their brand has won many awards recently and is considered one of the best Colombian brands. I couldn't agree more! The flavor is rich and subtle. The half kilo bag cost me 40,000 pesos, about $13 US dollars.

This pleasant cafe in the Gold Museum is located in perfect spot near the gift shop and bathrooms. Their coffee is supposed to be legendary. We tried cappuccino and latte and both were good but not necessarily better than average cafe coffee in Colombia. They mostly serve coffee in real cups but we received paper cups which is not as much gustatory fun.
They have waiters but you have to order at the counter. You can sit down and your coffee will be delivered to the table.
