The hotel room was very small, but the beds were good. Things in the bathroom didn't look very clean. The breakfast was o.k., but things were not clean, the floor and stairs were very sticky. After complaining about this, they cleaned it.

We were not at this hotel by choice, but with our booking at another hotel having been dishonoured (see review of Villa Dia), we had little option.

Whilst we didn’t find it as bad as some of the reviews on Trip Advisor, it is certainly a very long way from being a “4 Star” establishment. That said, I suspect that some rooms are way better than others, which may account for the variation in reviews.

On the plus side, the shower had plenty of strong hot water, the breakfast was good (unless you were unlucky enough to arrive at the same time as a large group), the view was great (although window hadn’t been cleaned in years), and the bed and room temperature were comfortable. Reception service was OK and the location on 2nd Circle is convenient.

On the down side, the room needed a thorough clean. No one had ever taken the nozzle off the vacuum cleaner to do around the legs of the bed and they had years worth of accumulated dirt around them. The TV was an antique, and the wi-fi was extremely slow, with the only strong signal being in the bathroom, meaning you had to sit on the toilet lid to do your emails. The bed valance was stained and the curtains had definitely seen better days.

Would not recommend, except as a last resort.
