To get in here you have to pay but if you have the Jordan Pass, just show the security and they let you in. The views from inside were lovely and if you have the time bring a little picnic and sit and watch the city Amman go by.

Great to read about the place before going. Amazing views and make sure to check the weather before going to dress well

Quite an experience to visit the Roman Amphitheater in Amman. It's quite old and in very good condition. The renovations they made look nice and fit in with the old amphitheater well. As well, the 2 small museums are very interesting and fun to walk through and see the ancient history and cultures. I highly recommend visiting this place especially if coming to Amman.

Must visit! Try this place around the evenings 5pm - 6pm is good when the sun lessens and casts shadow over the beautiful archaic steps of the amphitheater. Climb up to the last row and enjoy the city view.
The Jordan pass is accepted, it’s stamped at the ticket counter, or incase a mobile pass then show it directly at the main gate.
Also, if walking around late into the night, witness the square buzzing with children playing football, people enjoying sheesha, and the amphitheater beautifully lit up all night.

The amphitheater itself is also great in good shape, however it has a museum inside and that is also nice to see. You can see there some history and traditions in connection with the tribes which came to Jordan. Was very interesting.
