My boyfriend and I stayed here for more than a week while he was doing a choir recording gig in a local monastery. The location is amazing, being right next to the train station as well as the Old City. The rooftop patio is stunning--and free for guests.
The food was really good too--we ate breakfast and dinner here often. There were huge honey combs dripping into bowls and lots of fresh fruit, including the freshest watermelon every day for breakfast and dinner.
Unfortunately my boyfriend got Covid during his stay, but thankfully the staff really helped us out--ESPECIALLY ABEER! Abeer is amazing. We felt so cared for by her. Since I needed to move to my own room, she helped to make sure that I got into a room immediately (thought it was 9:00 a.m. and most rooms were still being cleaned). She also helped make sure I got a really good rate on my room. And she was super helpful and friendly with other things like finding where to pay for train tickets and where to go to the pharmacy.
The kitchen staff were very helpful and kind, bringing my boyfriend breakfast and dinner trays. They kept him fed and hydrated, and he was able to recover quickly.
I would absolutely recommend and stay again.
