Recently made a trip to Jerusalem and stayed at the Notre Dame four nights. The facility is beautiful and well located. However it was nearly 90 degrees each day we stayed there and they refused to turn on the air conditioning. Their only reason was "it was not air conditioning season yet". Not sure what constitutes air conditioning season, but where I'm from 90 degrees qualifies. This coupled with mattresses that were as hard as a rock made sleeping impossible. And the lack of sleep makes a long day of walking even longer. What's worse about it all, it was the most expensive place we stayed and the least comfortable. I much prefer a little less glamour with the ability to rest over flower and pomp and no ability to sleep! Shame on the staff for not being more attentive to our needs. 27 people in our group and we all complained to no avail! I will be back to Israel but never again to the Notre Dame!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel’s location is convenient to the Old City. Rooftop restaurant and bar offers great views, great selection of wines and good food at somewhat inflated prices. We had breakfast each morning in the Dining Room (which was included in the price of our room) - super convenient, good-to-middling food taste. Hotel staff was very helpful and always friendly. On-site chapel as well as art and an exhibit. Would strongly recommend. One issue, the hotel could offer bottled water in the rooms — rather inconvenient to have to purchase while our site seeing.

Room tip: Hotel offers a few balcony rooms — worth the upgrade price.

Wow! What a beautiful experience to be at Notre Dame before and after the celebration of Passover, Christian Holy Week, and Ramadan within walking distance. The staff was extremely flexible with personal needs and last-minute changes in travel. The food was great, the rooftop view the best, and the opportunity to share meals with others in a friendly dining room was an extra too. I appreciate the presence of religious priests and Catholic worship with the opportunity to join in free of any expectation. I'll be back to Notre Dame for sure....maybe next time for Christmas!

Unique place…a great staff always willing to help and smiling, priest available to listen to you and guide you, a wonderful chapel to stay closer to our Lord, wine and cheese on the rooftop just fantastic, and an exceptional location that allow you to go everywhere in a very short period of time…helpful if you go to the Holy Sépulcre for the early mass…. Thank you for a wonderful time

The Location could not be better. However, the rooms as shown on the Website are not as they are in reality. They show the luxury suites which are usually held for dignitaries. Rooms are sparse, with a single bed, chair, table and bedside cabinet. No television. The breakfast and dinner Buffet are good for the price. The room charges are way too high for many Pilgrims.
There is a high end dinning room on the top floor with excellent views of the Old City; however, prices are steep and attitude of Staff high. We decided we could have a better meal for the same price elsewhere.

Room tip: Rooms are all basic.
