To be honest, we knew in advance that most of the Israeli hotels are below average. Had to stay at Eldan as all the other hotels nearby were fully booked. So we found Eldan diagusting. Dirty (if you could only see the windows!), awful smell. Needs to be renovated. Definitely not 4*. Never again.

Good hotel for reasonable price. The hotel is opposite famous King David hotel so it means good location. It offers breakfast and dinner but for dinner I would recomend to go out and try restaurants. There is not much in this place , no attractions but the city of Jeruzalem is full of everything so one can simply sleep here.

We were ending a mission trip and staying on for 4 more days. This smaller Hotel fit our needs to a “T”. Walking distance to the Jaffa Gate and the Old
City, Friends of Zion, Mamilla Shopping, and King David Hotel. Friendly Helpful and courteous, Was the front desk. This Hotel was so clean and fresh. Breakfast was another great surprise. A well laid out Spread. When our Pre-arranged and prepaid ride to airport fell through the hotel came through with a better price and on time ride for us. Only good memories here.

Room Tip: Rooms were so clean and updated

This hotel offers far better service and comfort than any of the other hotels we visited in Israel. The staff are friendly and courteous, the rooms spotless and the breakfast buffet is exceptionally good.

Room Tip: Front rooms have a view of the Old City, but back rooms are shady and quiet

We enjoyed every aspect of the Eldan Hotel.

Staff were helpful, the location is amazing, and a fraction of the cost of the King David, which is right across the street.

The breakfast was luxurious and delicious, and again, the staff at breakfast were excellent.
