Stopped by for a cappuccino, then ordered some chicken. Both ok,but expensive for what you get. I think you pay more for the area near the park.

Chicken Star is the go-to place for expats in Bishkek. The fried chicken (chicken star special variety is the one I get) is quite delicious and well prepared. Half portion easily feeds 2 people for about 7-8 USD, which isn't a steal in KG. But! The lunch menu is the hidden treasure here. Very attractive lunch set prices with varied selections possible. Friday and Saturday nights there are attractive alcoholic drink prices. Separately, the espresso-based beverages are hands down the best I've had in KG. I go just about every other week, and am never disappointed! Highly recommended for any visitor to Bishkek!

Wow! I can’t believe all those good reviews. We were there during lunch time on a weekday. We ordered their signature dish ( crisp chicken of some sort, that was marked as “ popular “. Seriously! Panda Express is about the same or slightly better. Dry over cooked chicken deep fried , taste terrible. The location and interior is nice, but that’s about it . Way overpriced ! I’d rather go across the street to Turkish kabob place to get much better food for three times less than this place. Won’t be coming back for sure!

Rude waitress who don’t care about your food and time.
It was my last time there. Although I had problem with their slow service and it was my favorite friends to spend time with friends. But their devil-may-care attitudes are without limits

first of all, i ready like the ambience of the restaurant- warm lighting made me feel right at home. its great that they have english menu making it a great place for tourists!nice selection of chicken flavors - we had sweet spicy and soy garlic whole chicken. Very flavorful! We really enjoyed the crispy potato wedges and kimbap too! Salad was fresh. Staff are really friendly- if you visit on weekends, there’s open mic and live music! Must visit!
