On the open mic evens are the best to go and meet others, while enjoying a good evening of food and company

Love this place and visit regularly. Recommend the garlic chicken, kimchi sushi and soju with beer. Lovely staff always helpful.

It's a fab place for everyone...good food and nice ambience. Weekends are especially fun, with live music at times.
Not a very expensive place too.

I love chicken star! It is definitely a must visit place in Bishkek. It's a family place, it's a working place, it's fun place, it's an art place, it can be everything))

I first found Chicken Star a year and half ago and in that time I've gone probably a couple of times a month, and it has NEVER failed to disappoint. The food is fantastic, particularly the chicken breasts, hand-cut fries and bibimbap. The staff are incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to help you - this is not normal in Central Asia, so don't take it for granted! The coffee is also the best in Bishkek. And then if you add in art exhibitions, jazz and salsa nights, and open mics - this restaurant isn't just a restaurant, it's a community, and is a wonderful place to visit during your time in Bishkek.
