First time in Kyrgyzstan and I booked this hotel not knowing what to expect but already having a good feeling when they offered free airport shuttle. I can't say enough about their staff, I interacted with Ruslan, Victor and a lovely girl during my stay. They were nothing short of sweet, accommodating, super attentive to all kinds of questions, they exchanged my money accurately and fast, let me check in early and have breakfast (..that I did not pay for!), answered all my touristy questions, all while keeping an eye on the reception, on other tourists, the dining room, the kitchen and overall hotel management, they do it all!. I also requested a room with a larger bed and was changed to a room with the biggest I've seen lol (literally the bed takes up the entire width of the room! I did ask myself how you get that inside the room-so much math!). I liked the experience so much that when I went back to Bishkek days later, I went straight to Kausar without reservation and they were super chill and quickly put me in a room. I just love these guys!..
Also ADORED the decor and atmosphere.. it has that Central Asian aesthetic of wallpaper, florals, gold touches, etc perfectly balanced with modern features.. and it feels warm and inexplicably familiar, like staying at your rich aunt's house.
The breakfast is amazing too.. lots of fruit, pastries, eggs,...First time in Kyrgyzstan and I booked this hotel not knowing what to expect but already having a good feeling when they offered free airport shuttle. The breakfast is amazing too.. lots of fruit, pastries, eggs, sausages, salami, for those of us that really need excess in the morning. They also make your eggs any way you want them and get them right!
The hotel is located on a quiet street that is peaceful during the day (beautiful view of the mountains btw!) and a little too dark during the night but you never really feel unsafe (solo female traveller here).
I plan to explore more of Kyrgyzstan next year and cannot wait to kick off my stay at Kausar again!More
