This was the first place I stayed on my month-long holiday in SE Asia, and they set the bar pretty high for every hotel that followed. Low-key from the outside, but once I checked in, Jerry and his staff went to work making everything about my stay smooth and easy -- 5-star service at a 3-star price. I can't say enough about this place and the folks working there. With a location near the Old Quarter, you just can't go wrong, especially at this price point. Highly recommended.

We stayed here only for a few nights out of our 2 week holiday in vietnam and it was the best place we stayed out of the whole trip!! The staff were so lovely and accommodating to us making us feel most welcome and when we were in between places they told us to come back giving us somewhere to rest and even shower until it was time for our train. I can not recommend this place enough!! It was centrally located in the old quarter and breakfast was really good, rooms were extremely clean and spacious.

Having previously lived in Hanoi, and still a regular returnee for work, I am extremely well versed in the city's hospitality offerings. Antique Legend is without doubt my current number one choice in relation to hotels. It really hits a slam (Service.Location.Amenities.Meals) dunk in all aspects of hospitality, but also goes the extra mile in providing its guests with an exceptionally warm and friendly experience, and in doing so achieves congeniality immortality.

Especially big wraps for manager, Jerry, for sourcing me a beautiful long pipe from the local market, and helping me break it in over a couple of iced teas.

Highly recommended! This is a fantastic little hotel located on the eastern edge of the French Quarter. The staff in this hotel are the most caring and attentive people we have come across in our travels. It is almost a family atmosphere. The rooms are spotlessly clean and a great Asian/Western buffet breakfast is included in the more than reasonable tariff

Room tip: The quieter rooms are located at the rear of the hotel

This small hotel is located perfectly on a small busy street the old district of Ha Noi near the weekend night market, Hoan Kiem lake, the water puppet theatre and many other landmarks in a neighborhood of many small shops and restaurants. Despite this, the room I had on the 8th floor was quiet. It was roomy, comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was perfect,

The staff was helpful beyond expectations. They provided excellent service, warm greetings maps, and recommended restaurants. On departure, they arranged for a prepaid taxi to the airport and gave a warm sendoff that made me wish I could stay several more days.

I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again.

Room tip: Higher floors at the rear of the hotel are probably quieter than those facing the street
