I was there Today as a recommendation from my Hotel Congress. I was extremely disappointed from the food taste and quality.
It's nothing like Indian food not even close.
Staff are friendly and so nice and the restaurant has a nice lake view.
Other than that simply nothing.
I wouldn't recommend it if you are hungry.

My boyfriend and I have been coming here almost every weekend since August. We love the food and staff. I enjoy the beef curry so much ( also chicken curry ). The guardian is so nice. He always remembers us and welcomes with a friendly smile. The staff is great and polite. Although we had to wait a bit long for the food sometimes but it doesn't matter at all. They still do their great job. Love this place.

the view of truc bach lake from restaurant is beautiful, there is variety in sitting space, there is traditional takhat style sitting besides the normal table chair setup and bar stool type, i just wish the food was better, what we ate was poor in taste, prices are ok, just like every other indian restaurant here in hanoi. I hope they improve the quality of food.

I'll begin with the positives, the food here was good, we ordered chicken tikka masala, beef and spinach tandoori, naan, rice and poppadoms. All very nice and flavoursome.

However, the reason we have docked 2 from our rating was due to the ridiculous system this restaurant has set up for service.

We received our poppadoms first as appetisers. No issue. We then received our chicken tikka masala, the rice and naan about 15/20 minutes later which was slightly longer than expected but no big deal. Also we were given pilau rice rather than the steamed rice which we had ordered. The beef tandoori main did not come with the rest of and we were told it would take longer to cook. Fair enough. We finished the masala, rice and naan with still no sign of the beef. We considered cancelling it but decided we'd finish our beers and if it still hadn't come by then we'd forget about it. As we were sat by the door, about 20 minutes (at least) after finishing the masala, rice and naan we observed one of the waiters arriving with a take away bag of sorts and we assumed that it was our beef coming from somewhere else! The owner/manager took the bag and went upstairs, he came back a minute later with our beef. Slightly bemused we ate it, wondering why it appeared our food was being outsourced!

Our bill came to 500,000 VND which was the highest bill we've gotten in South East Asia. We thought they might give us a discount considering how long we waited. That didn't happen. They also slapped on 15,000 VND for service!! What the hell?! Seriously laughable service.

Funnily enough, when I checked the "poor" reviews on TripAdvisor for this place I found a reviewer which had a similar experience and mentions that apparently this restaurants kitchen isn't on site, but rather somewhere else in the city, so they must collect orders from the other restaurant hence why the service is so slow! Crazy!

If the manager made deductions for the atrocious service it would make a big difference but he obviously doesn't care and never acknowledged any of it. Not cool!
