The most amazing experience!

Our guide was Nui and she was fantastic! What the PES are doing is so amazing and it’s so important to visit this ethical sanctuary as many others call themselves sanctuary but then offer rides at the end of the tour :(

PES is soooooo worth every penny, the staff are great, food is delicious and they definitely have the cleanest toilets in Thailand!

Can’t wait to return to see their brilliant work expand

PES was an amazing morning adventure in Phuket! The staff and facilities that the PES team has provided to look after and care for these elephants is amazing. You can truly see the dedication and work of the whole team to ensure the safety and happiness of all the elephants. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see elephants in their as close to natural habitat that ensures you are not going to bother their daily routines. We got to feed them, let them and watch them go swimming. At PES there are no rides or swimming with them, but at the end of the day it is for the elephant safety. I felt that each elephant they have rescued is in a better place because of this. Could not recommend more!

Being an animal lover I couldn’t wait to come and see these majestic animals and hear their stories... I left with so much more and definitely more knowledge. We will definitely be back and will be recommending our friends come and visit this beautiful place. Our day was amazing I left with a full heart and a big smile 10/10.

This was a part of our trip that we were very much looking forward to and we were not let down! We flew into Phuket and took a taxi over to the sanctuary (they will store your luggage). The afternoon tour was great, as they give you snacks before you go on your tour and then dinner afterwards (the food was amazing!!). My husband is vegan and thought he went to heaven with the food selection! We learned so much about the hardships that elephants face and how they should be living. I thought that the cost was a bit steep for the tour, but after learning how much the Sanctuary pays to rescue each elephant (and then subsequently care for them), it made sense. We got to pet one of the elephants and she seemed to really enjoy that. We also got to feed one. We really loved our time here.

Thank you our guide BOY - very impressed with his knowledge. The park certainly opened our eyes and showed us how the tourist attractions (trekking/riding, circus and other performances) are just so wrong. These beautiful animals that have been so poorly treated or mistreated will now live out their days in a caring environment. The lunch was delicious and plenty of it.

I was very impressed and thankful that our guide jumped into action to help out when the heat became too much for our Mum. Such a kind man - thank you Boy....
