Average- reasonable price in a very good location

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 28 May 2024via mobile
We booked two nights for just a simple superior room, the price was reasonable compared to other surrounding hotels, yet the location was suburb.

Friendly (some of) staff, 1000baht deposit, got 1 key while we booked for two, paid for two, so we had to ask for one more key. Got it but we also be informed that the loss of key will cost us 300baht. And meanwhile some other hotel used non plastic key card and gave away the guest as their souvenir and contact information and returned guest. This felt dinosaur age.

The room was quite ok in general, it kinda needs a major cleaning once in a while. Comfy firm bed , really good air con for some of us that get used to Scandinavian weather.
There were some noise in the night, so if the rooms are available, request for high floor.

Check out at 14:00
Receptionist asked for the deposit receipt, which took me a while to find. Then I asked him what if I lost it. He said it doesn’t really matter coz they kept the record anyway. (So why make it complicated)

In short, we do recommend this hotel if you are either on budget, or stay alone or just wanna trash the town. Like mentioned, location is the best.

Booked this hotel on the 12th December for 8 nights and ended up leaving after just 1 night. Booked a superior room. Having stayed at this hotel on 2 previous occasions, I was happy with my choice. However, when allocated my room, I was on the 3rd floor facing the front of the hotel. On my previous stays, I was on the 6th or 7th floor with my rooms facing treetown. I found the high floors much better as the noise levels were kept to a minimum. Unfortunately on this trip, my room was directly opposite a massage parlour, a couple of bars and an area outside the front of the hotel where the staff and motorbike taxi riders would congregate all night until the early hours. Outside the bars and massage parlour you would hear the catcalls from the staff trying to get customers. Fine, but tiresome at 0500am when trying to sleep. I went to reception the next morning to ask for a change of room but was told none was available. Couldn't spend another sleepless night so decided to change hotel.
Despite my negative experience, I would recommend this hotel, providing you can get a high floor and not facing the front of the hotel. The hotel generally is kept very clean, great staff with a very good pool area. Location is good if you want to be near the action that Pattaya is famous for.

Room tip: Request a high floor! Superior room is very small

WORST Hotel ever! if you have any intention of sleeping before 3.00 then avoid this hotel.
We were booked into it thru Golfaisa for 7 nights after 1st nt 3 of my partners moved out 2 stayed and requested rooms on other side of building, we both then moved out the next day!
Rooms are so small you can not even unpack, and then there is no room to put your stuff anyway. Bed is big and comfortable if you like the 2 mattresses thing and a ridge down the middle.
Staff were friendly and we were provided a token refund which was appreciated.

Room tip: Avoid, but if you don't mind a band playing in your room then its very very close to the nightlife and bars of tree town which is good.

Went back to my room around 2am to find out the batter of my look was out. By 3:30am they could not open it yet. So they only solution they gave me was another room...of course with no belongings or anything else.
I had to call they next morning by 9am to find out it was not yet solved but... around 8:50am somebody from the staff opened the room I was sleeping in without even calling to the room!!!!!
Finally they called me around 9:40am to say my previous room was fixed.
There was not any other sorry call or meet me to apologize for the incident. Lucky my flight was day after otherway dont know what would happen.
Totally unproffestional and bad service.

The staff service is great, the hotel is new and the location is superb. There's even a pedestrian entrance into the back of Treetown that Google maps doesn't know about.

For me, none of that overcomes the intrinsic limitations of the buildings. The rooms are tiny. No matter where you put your bag, it's in the way. Is it an advantage that you can put the "do not disturb" sign on the door while sitting at the desk without getting up? I guess so, but mostly it shows how cramped things are. The bathroom door clears the toilet by about 3mm. There are plenty of hotels with rooms double this size in Pattaya. No need to squeeze into a shoebox.

There are two buildings. If your room is in the 2nd building, you have to go downstairs, walk outside (possibly in the rain), climb the stairs into the main building, just in order to go to breakfast or visit the pool.

While the pool itself is ok, there are three massive problems with it:
1) It's located up a big flight of stairs, making it unnecessarily dangerous for everyone and totally inaccessible for wheelchairs. The gym and sauna are then down a flight of stairs from that. It's all a horrendous design.
2) They play awful music.
3) They allow smoking, so it's a horrible environment. There are only about 6 lounges in the shade next to the pool, so there's nowhere to escape the smoke, unless you want to get sunburnt.

The reception senior staff lady was excellent. She checked in promptly and was very professional. Received a room in next building and the house keeping lady was excellent and Always with a smile and very helpful. Rooms are little smaller than expected and hardly had space to move around. Food taste was excellent and spread was brilliant. Elderly kitchen staff was very prompt and helpful. Bell boys were brilliant at service. Easy access from all sides to the hotel. Little louder in nights. But good choice for a solo traveler. Value for money.

Room tip: Central location for all activities
