They will pick you up in the hotel. And from the point of driving, it's already a road trip advantage...loll
It's safe, of cause depends of coach. 2 coaches in a 6-people group. Some coaches are kind of playful, but mine are super nice and good.
They will offer you drinks and snacks. And a meal after your advantage.
Lucky that we enjoy good weather and not that sunny.
A bit regret we didn't bring our phone, but we bought their photography package. Reasonable price and nice photos and video all capture.
Hope to be back one day!
Safety, friendly helpful staff and great course with 52 platforms and very long zip lines. Located in the center of the jungle you can here the birds and gibbon monkeys. Although my gf was to scared to continue after platform no 10, they brought her back to main camp where she was given water and food and could see the returning people on the longest 900 m zip line in the end. The course itself is well maintained and the staff is very professional. (And make lots of small jokes aside, but keep safety first at all times)
They provided rain ponchos when the rain started and offered help where needed.
Really good lunch as well.
Had a great day and would do it again if I was in chiang Mai..
Serge and Gabe made this an awesome experience with their knowledge and attention to safety. Very nice course over the terrain and waterfall. Low impact, with the exception of the thrill involved. I would highly recommend this outfit and their employees, all are very friendly and helpful.
I took this trip on 6th July and was quite happy with the experience. Initially we were co sidering Flight of the Gibbons but finally settled for this as the cost was almost half (they charged us 1800 baht per person). You can choose from 4 different time slots ranging from 6:30 to 12:30. We chose the 8 AM pick up and was picked up right on time in a minivan. We reached the camp after a drive of about 90 minutes, where we were briefed about security and given a harness and helmet to wear. You can also opt for photographs and videos and they will take pictures for you and give you in a pen drive. We opted for it, however, the price was a little steep at 1200 Baht.
Once the briefing was done we were raken for a short hike to the first station from where we started the activity. There were 50 stations in all including ziplines of different distances, some bridge walks and a few absailings. The absailings were not that great as they would just hang you down from a high tree to a lower station without you having to do anything (this includes a long 50m drop). The long distance ziplines are at the later stage and there were few cross mountains which were awesome! The weather was cloudy with slight rainfall and the breeze blowing against you as you are flying across mountains is something you just have to feel for yourself! The last one is of 900 metres which apparently is the longest in Thailand! But personally i felt there were too many short distance ziplines and after a while it kind of got repetitive. Would have been better if they reduced the number of stations and increased long distance ziplines.
Post the activity there was a buffet lunch comprising of modest menu of a clear soup, some noodles and a chicken item. After lunch we were taken back to our hotel in Chiang Mai in the same minivan.
We enjoyed the activity a lot and never felt security is a concern as the crew was very vigilant and the ropes and the harnesses also looked in good shape. The crew was also funny and made jokes to keep everybody cheerful. Overall, I would recommmend this place to anyone looking for some adventurous stuff in Chiang Mai.
As a family with two young children (aged 6), we were a little unsure about what to expect and whether the kids would want to do it. The kids seemed keen to try, so we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best.
At the main office you are fitted with your safety gear and given a short safety briefing and demonstration about how the zip line works. Then you jump on the back of a pickup truck for a short, but steep, drive up into the jungle.
There are 53 platforms, which link a mix of zip lines, a couple of abseils (from a platform down to the ground) and some rope bridges. Thankfully, the zip line starts off gently - not that far and not too high off the ground. Helps you relax and get comfortable with everything. Kids loved it!! Our daughter (who we thought was most likely to have second thoughts) was first one to try it and never looked back!!!
The zip lines get longer at the end, as you travel over a deep canyon, finishing with the 900m zip line. Just amazing.
We absolutely loved it!!! The staff were very careful and took safety seriously. They were particularly good with our young kids, helping them to relax and have fun (which helped us relax and have fun!) If you are looking for a family adventure, highly recommend Skyline.
This place is a must visit if you r really like such activity and u r fit the staff at this place is really remarkable and friendly most important safety is their priority I enjoyed it and if I come again I'll go there
