Every time I'm in Chiang Mai I get at least one massage here. Mr. Nat is a massage therapist but doubles as a chiropractor, at least in my case. He's so popular it's necessary to make an appointment.
Don't expect a nice relaxing massage though, this is serious business. The therapists work out all the kinks in your body, which can be painful at times. But luckily you can tell them "too hard" and they'll go easier on you (wuss!)
And I have had all sorts. Be prepared to feel your muscles screaming and then glowing as they relax. Makes all other Thai massage seem very poor in comparison.
This now puts my previous first, also by the blind, in Cambodia, into second best ... Clearly a message here. I shall be looking out blind masseurs from now on.
Wonderful... Had one each day whilst here.
My opinion - some of the best therapists anywhere. Mr. Nat is especially talented and very much in demand - be sure to make an appointment before you go.
If u know something about massage u will like this place which provides a very good massage for decent prices. Run by blind folks so be prepared when u enter.
I can't recommend this place enough. Different length sessions (1hr, 1,5 or 2 hrs) and different strength of masseurs means you can always choose what you need. To start with, choose a shorter session with a female masseuse. For connoisseurs, ask for Nat - he gives great neck cracks! Plus you help blind people make good living. Also, the bedsheets are changed after each client, not always the case.
