Really nice place. Clean room , decent WiFi, good location and the staff are particularly nice. Great breakfast also, omelettes made to order are popular, good cappucino which I think is very important.

The Dahlia is an attractive hotel by the side of Phewa lake and Basundhara Park. It is only a short walk to the main tourist shopping and restaurant area along the lakeside. The staff were brilliant from the moment we checked in until we checked out after four nights.

The room (201) itself was small with limited storage space. The one very small wardrobe in the room was unusable because it had a very strong 'mothball' odour that would have tainted our clothes. We had a choice of rooms on the second floor and opted for the one that offered mountain views. This also overlooked the building site of the what will be the pool. Although there was some noise, it wasn't intrusive and we were out mostly during daylight hours when they were working, but it may be worth noting.

Other than that, the hotel service was impeccable, the breakfast was adequate and the coffee and beer served on the verandah were excellent and reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and comfortable but the bathroom/toilet is a slightly unusual wet room style.

Room Tip: Room 201 offered views of the mountains when it was clear but above pool construction site

I stayed here for 3 nights and i am very pleased with my stay. The hotel is immaculately clean, the room was beautiful and the service from all staff was excellent.
Special mention to Ramita When you are traveling solo, being safe is one of a big consideration. Getting drunk while traveling alone is never a good idea haha but on my 2nd last night i decided to let my hair down and have a few at the hotel’s restaurant. When i tried to order my 5th bottle of tuburg beer, Ramita told me that i should stop drinking as i was already looking a bit intoxicated. She helped me get to my room and made sure the door was securely locked. Ramita is a lovely, kind and friendly young lady who works at the restaurant. Thank you

We were looking for a late lunch in Pokhara and were attracted by the beautiful ornate brick building that houses the Dahlia. The atmosphere was great on the front verandah and the food was lovely. The service was exceptional thanks to two wonderful young people, Ramita and Bijay. We were so impressed we returned for dinner with friends. Once again Bijay and Ramita and the kitchen staff did a great job.

Room 303 5 nights 9th to 13th March
An attractive hotel with exposed brickwork to the public areas.
We received a warm welcome and efficient check in and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and well stocked with toiletries, although a little on the small side. There is an unusual ‘toilet in shower’ wet room arrangement. Rooms are not supplied with a hairdryer but one was available from reception.
The restaurant serves good food which is very reasonable priced, e.g. thali chicken 600r, & 650ml Gorkha beer 350r. 10% service and 13% VAT are added to all food and drink purchases.
There is an adequate but very small breakfast buffet with a chef serving omelettes etc.
There is an un-serviced seating area on the roof with good views of the surrounding area and mountains.
The hotel is situated opposite Phewa lake via Basundhara park, and shops and restaurants are a short walk away.
Please note that a swimming pool is currently under construction and the continuous noise from this was intrusive in our room during daylight hours.

Room Tip: Stay as far away from swimming pool construction as possible.
