A good place to stop on your Belize City tour for a few pictures in front of the sign and with the lucky turtle statues..

Designed by Estevan Perera, a Belizean lawyer in 2014, it has become a popular tour stop.

Located next to the Baron Bliss Lighthouse, both monuments have not only popularised this end of Seashore Drive and park, but they both have come to symbolise the warmth and hospitality of the Belizean people.

Make sure to get your family photo on the sign backdropped with the Caribbean Sea, which makes the best souvenir and scrapbook entry of your visit to Belize City!

Aside, someone would do well opening a restaurant and bar just opposite as you can't find a beer or a quick bite at or near this stop.

This is really a beautiful "Photo-Op" however it can be very crowded with everyone vying for their turn to have there picture taken. For cruise passengers when you embark from the tender and walk though the building the sign will be to your right, less than a 10 minute walk, be careful of heavy traffic, this is the area for the tour buses, taxis and regular traffic.
