I have been renting from Crystal for several years, and have always been pleased with the service as well as the vehicles. Prices and vehicles are much better than the competition. They will give you a cell phone to use in country, if you need it, as well as a map. The Igloo cooler is a nice plus - it comes in handy, particularly if you are going to be visiting a number of areas.
I damaged the rear bumper plastic (minor) a couple of years ago, and there was no charge to me whatsoever - most companies would have probably reamed me. Great people, great company.

We rented a Jeep for a week to go to Caracol, Tikal, and Yaxha. They were super helpful with the rental and went out of their way to help us find a taxi when our bus to Belize (nothing to do with Crystal) broke down in the middle of nowhere.
We were able to breeze through the border crossings both ways as everyone we dealt with recognized and respected Crystal Auto.

We rented a Jeep from Crystal and drove it to San Ignacio. They were incredibly helpful providing maps and suggestions for where to go along the way. The cars were very clean and the pick-up process was very quick and efficient.
2 days into our trip one of the struts broke on the suspension. We called Crystal expecting the worst - charging us for the repair as well as premiums for arranging new transportation.
We spoke to the rental agent and he asked when the best time to meet him would be. We were still able to go on our full-day tour and meet him afterwards. He drove the 2 hours to bring us a new vehicle (upgraded for free) and took care of the broken car. There were no additional charges whatsoever.
We dropped off the car and they apologized again for the inconvenience and then took us to the water ferry for free.
Great customer service and a great experience all around.
