We went last week from 12/30/17 to 1/5/17 , and the hotel is perfect, always clean, nice bath , beds are good.
Also they have a restaurant in front of the hotel, very good food, and the Tours as well, try the tour for Hol Chan awesome experience.

Four minute walk from the water taxi, placing it about 2/3 of the (very short) walk up the front street of the island. Clean, comfortable and ordinary, but you get a small kitchenette w/mini fridge and microwave, 3/4 bath, one or two large beds and access to small amenities like beach towels. Very nice staff but pretty short office hours. Overall, very reasonable and priced about right.

Room Tip: Second (top floor) rooms are quieter. None are really noisy, however.

I've been to Caye Caulker a lot and I've stayed here a few of those times. This is the perfect place to stay on Caye Caulker. Convenient, clean, helpful, friendly. It's exactly what you need and the location can't be beat...it's about the halfway point between the split and restaurants/bars. It also has a few chairs on the beach which is great.

And the people are amazing, we just went back for a 3rd time and they totally remember us at this point. They are so nice and friendly, helped us with any questions or advice we needed.

Their snorkel shop across the street is also great. Fabian took us out on a fishing/snorkel trip this last time and we caught barracuda (he then cooked it for dinner for us), swam with manatees, and just a generally great day. If you stay at Rainbow (or even if you don't) I definitely recommend them.

We paid 100/night for our room. The windows don't open and have bars on them and the second night we were there the power went out so it was like 90 degrees in the room and we had no way of getting air in because the windows don't open. We also had no light or tv or anything so we were in pitch black for 12 hours. We went and told the front desk the next morning because we wanted our money back for that night at least and the desk person just said "it's not our fault the power went out." This place was awful.

Small hotel, central location ( you can get to everywhere in 5 mins on foot ), restaurants and bars nearby, amazing sunup and sunset from the second floor, nice and clean room with AC. Would go back again.
