Family trip April 21-26 2024. 2 adults, 2 kids 2.5/5 YO. Chose this hotel for bunk beds, water park, park view and spacious rooms, proximity to park
hotel style not motel style rooms.
Rooms: Upgraded to water park view to make it more special for kids. Did not disappoint, each room has mini mini balcony with sliding door that looks out on water park. Some noise as it’s open till 10pm but not a lot of water parkuse in the 7-10pm slot.
No kettle, only a single cup kurtis with 4 pods provided and some powder creamo.
half mini fridge with adjustable racks. we fit in a dozen eggs, a 4L jug of milk, some drinks, creamo, 6 yogurts, butter and cheese sticks and hummus. Our mini pops fit in the fridge in a designated spot but if u plan on having cold drinks bring a collapsible cooler b/c if u have food in the fridge too you won’t fit in like glass bottle beers or anything like that.
No kettle in the room. Requested one pre-arrival and it wasn’t in room so called down as first keurig didn’t work- they came up within 20 min with a new keurig and a kettle.
Bunk beds: the hotel provided a bed rail free of charge for the lower bunk, just call and request one. otherwise the baby rental companies around do rent them out, having the hotel provide one was a nice bonus tho. beds were sturdy, clean and big enough for me to lay down comfortable. i’m 5’6”.
Service: Mainly great. Valet staff courteous, attentive, and visible. They hustle!
Lobby staff Initial welcome coming in was lackluster. the two staff at the desk watched me come in but continued speaking to one another, no real greeting until i was right in front of desk which i thought was a bit off putting. Later on sorting out the instacart order was better and maybe i walked in during an important convo, who knows.
Pool door staff and life guards all professional, courtiers and thorough. Cleaning staff: I never saw them as we were gone during day but on 2nd day they come in to clean and room was satisfactory. We were happy and my girls were thrilled they laid out their blankets from home with such care!
Amenities:
Waterpark: Hot tub broken for 2 days but running by 3rd day. Perfect temp for even my 2.5 year old. What i love about the water park is the springy padded floor of the whole play water park area. It’s soft and springy and way safer than water parks with cement. There’s a toddler wading pool which was warmer, a smaller rectangular pool, 2 big slides and a huge water park/splash pad structure perfect for kitties but the bucket does douse the park at intervals so listen for the metal wheel to start going faster, and clear out if you don’t want to get drenched. Pool towels are provided by the pool door staff and there’s ample supply.
There is lots of seating, both lounge chairs and reg chairs with some bistro tables.
saw some ppl having drinks at the pool but there’s no bar in the pool area. no food there either.
Cafe: apparently there’s starbucks coffee here but we didn’t try the bistro food or coffee.
Store: there’s a disney souvenir store, as well as a little snack store. could buy alot of gifts here prob slightly cheaper than the parks.
Accessibility: we needed to rent an ECV scooter for unanticipated injury prior to trip. there’s a little alcove for storage when u enter the room- with a plug in. we stored the double BOB in the bathroom overnight so the ECV could charge cause they def don’t fit together.
Disney Related: gift store with plushes, key chains, magnets, autograph books (12.99 for hardback one with pen), t shirts, megs ect. also snacks and a wall of drugstore type stuff. open 07-10pm. 7 min walk to park, elevator around 730 am very busy so try go before that if u are ropedropping.
enjoy! we’ll be back :)
