I stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott at Anaheim Resort / Convention with my senior parents and my toddler in a deluxe king one-bedroom suite. The room was set up with a bedroom (with king bed and bathroom), living room (with queen sofa bed and kitchenette) and it was just enough space for three adults and a toddler, provided I didn't mind being in close quarters with my parents. The king bed was incredibly comfortable for my parents; the sofa bed was adequate. After a long day at Disneyland, it didn't matter too much but keep in mind, it's not the best of sofa beds I've slept on. The hotel provided a standard pack and play / crib for my toddler, and the living room was just big enough to fit the crib (with Slumberpod / sleep tent over it) next to the sofa bed while it was pulled out. The kitchen had a full-size fridge and dishwasher, equipped with utensils and plates, all the basics to cook or reheat leftovers.
The door to the bathroom and the bedroom were sliding doors so something to keep in mind if you have little ones running around like us. My toddler didn't slam his fingers but I could see it happening if kids were rambunctious enough. The bathroom door also serves as the door to the closet so it does end up going back and forth quite a bit. The bathroom was spacious and updated, the shower head had good pressure and toiletries were mounted to the shower wall.
The hotel breakfast (available between 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. most mornings) was great but it was definitely crowded at peak hours, with families trying to get to Disneyland for opening. It wasn't a problem for us, we always had an easy time finding a table when we went down around 7 a.m. There were also plenty of high chairs, which I appreciated. Breakfast included granola with toppings, cereal, yogurt, some fruit (grapes, cut melon, bananas most mornings), scrambled eggs, either sausage rounds or Canadian bacon, cubed hashbrows, and waffles. The waffles are reason enough to pick this hotel over another comparable hotel. There were two rows of waffle machines, so you never had to wait very long. The machines make either four mini Mickeys or one large Mickey so lots of options. Whipped cream and syrup available for the waffles too. The drink bar had skim and 2% milk in a dispenser but also a jug of oat milk which I appreciated. Lots of juice. There was a coffee machine offering hot coffee or cold brew, along with to-go cups and lids so you could grab a coffee to go.
The front desk was lovely, they were able to accommodate a late check-out for us. The lobby is locked after a certain hour and you'll need your room key to get in, which I appreciated. The laundry room is on the 6th floor, near the gym and pool. Of the 12 machines that were there, only half were working (two washers, four dryers). Laundry detergent was available for purchase in the lobby market but you're better off packing your own from home if possible. The machines run 30 mins for a wash, and 90 mins for a dry, which I found odd, and take credit card.
The walk to Disneyland was also very easy, a straight shot up Harbour, about 15 minutes or less depending on lights and crowds. The hotel is also very close to the Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump's, P.F. Chang's and other food and nightlife options. CVS and Walgreen's are right downstairs next door, which was a huge help. There is an EVE Shuttle stop half a block away, which is an affordable option from the airport.
All in all, the hotel had a ton of pros, not very many cons and its very few faults (not enough working washing machines, uncomfortable sofa bed) aren't quite enough to turn me off. I'd still pick this hotel again for the future, if I am travelling with family and wanting to stay in one room but also needing a bit of separation. The deluxe king suites would be perfect for a family of four, if your kids don't mind sharing a queen sofa bed.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. The hotel looks nice. The rooms are larger which is nice for a family of 5. We haven’t had issues in the past, but the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned this trip. There was a dirty sock in the corner of one room, and beer bottle caps in the other. We let the front desk know, and they said they have had problems recently.
Not sure if we will stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel, the location was great, the breakfast was very good. The suites very comfortable and all the suites have a kitchenette which makes it very convenient. Just around the corner from the hotel you have a pharmacy/convenience store open 24 hours.

Stayed here for a business trip at the convention center (5 minutes away). The room is awesome little suite- you have your bedroom and then the living room/full kitchen right outside it. (Full fridge/freezer and all utensils and plates you need). My coworkers stayed Hilton which is closer, but NOT as nice. This hotel has a nice heated, rooftop pool and hot tub (kids sprinkler area, was not turned on, so unsure.) great free breakfast, tons of options including Mickey waffles (they have plenty of Machines- it did get busy but was fine really. Nice coffee and juice options as well. Small bar was a nice out of the way option. The staff was super friendly and always welcomed me back to hotel. They have a neat room service option that arrived quickly and had the option to pick up in the lobby- which I liked. Comfortable beds and very quiet. Only two negatives- I had no view- I stared at a roof. And I thought I did not have a closet- was behind door for bathroom door and I totally missed it! I would stay here with family as well, as I had two bed and a couch that filled out. We did not go to Disney, but it was close.

Residence Inn is a hidden gem! It’s tucked into a corner that’s walking distance to Disneyland main gate. The staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming, the room was beyond quiet (and there were tons of kiddos - including mine) in the hotel, the kitchen was convenient, the view wasn’t the best even though I called ahead and requested park view it was more like partial view but still the ambiance was very nice and the colored lights through the trees was still very beautiful at night. Great trip. We will stay here again for sure!
Room tip: Get to breakfast early it gets crowded, bring groceries and any special snacks etc. the “store” in the lobby is not really that :)
