1) The employee at the front desk was a bit slow and seemed uninterested in us initially. He was casually chatting with some one while my husband waited at the desk, as if he didn’t notice. Mildly irritating because most 1000 Trails check-ins make us feel super welcome.
2) The camp is littered with dog poop. It seems that few campers clean up after their pups. I wish there was some way to fix that as we are very conscientious about our dogs and resent having to clean up after others when we pull into a site! We’ve even observed staff passing by obvious trash like plastic bags & paper while zooming around in their golf carts. This negative part of my review is only because of the obvious neglect of the campgrounds/campsite in terms of trash and dog poop left behind by campers and staff.

It was quite in its element with beautifully kept, expansive grounds and many family activities! Hoping to see that return in full!
