Room typical corporate warrior style with fridge & micro in ours. Located in Chinatown, which IMO is about as safe as any other place.
What set this apart was everything oozed of great customer service. Staff was available, but not intrusive. Most enjoyable was the gentleman (don't recall his name) attending the breakfast buffet. We didn't want for anything.
Has interior door connecting to "Irish Channel" a pub with outstanding Irish themed food. We ate there twice it was so good.
You are about a block and a half east of the "Gallery Place" metro which we found was one or two stops away from all needed destinations or connections to where most tourists would want to go.
US Mint coin store a few blocks away.
PS Rather than take a $20-25 cab from Reagan International, you can take the metro all but that last block and a half. We spent 4 days in DC and each bought a $35 7-day metro card. Can even go to Arlington Cemetery via metro rail. Never took metro buses.More
