Very beautiful and lots to see here. Free to go and lots of history to see inside. I recommend anyone going to not miss this one.

What an awesome feel seeing this memorial! Just as awesome as Lincoln's Memorial. This should be on everyone's bucket list.

This monument is located beside the tidal basin and it provides a lovely view of the city. Take the time to visit this monument if you are in DC. We visited during a moonlight tour and it was absolutely beautiful, one of our favorites on the trip. Check out the memorial, but also take time to just sit on the steps and take it all in. A truly great spot to take in the city.

Go see it at night when it is all lit up. You get a great view of the Washington Monument also. Of note, the Jefferson Monument had the worse bathrooms. Half of them were out of order and those that worked were very dirty.

It’s hard to relate to the man and the effort he made to help a nation evolve. The monument is well done and provides generations the opportunity to remember.
