We stumbled upon this lovely family-run restaurant (22 seats) while walking the winding streets of old Tavira. Paula and her husband take turns making you feel very welcome while explaining the food they make with a passion for flavour- and what is in season. The prices are very reasonable, the menu varied, the portion sizes just right and the house wine delicious. Give yourself a break from the typical tourist meals and try something that speaks to the way modern Portuguese- and visitors- are interested in eating - fresh and unique twists on old traditions. We'll definitely be back next visit.
