The hotel building is an architectural masterpiece along with all the other surrounding buildings. It's a 10min walk away from the old centre of Riga but it's situated in the "quiet city centre". Worth seeing even if you aren't staying at the hotel, but if you are, you can enjoy everything it offers including a really good breakfast, a comfortable room, a sauna etc.

Everything was perfect. The only disappointing thing was that there was extra amount in the bill when check out. We got that sorted so it was fine at the end. All in all a beautiful hotel and the quality-price is rarely this good. After travelling 32 countries, we can say this by experience.

This hotel is a short walk from the old town. When we arrived at 2pm we were sent up to a room that had not been cleaned so had to wait an hour for it to be ready - we got a free drink voucher to use the bar and an hour later got to our room. Not the best start. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. A couple of mornings breakfast was very quiet but when it was busy the tables took a while to be cleared , the staff weren’t always obviously in attendance. Staff were all friendly. Would stay here again when in Riga

The hotel is cosy and clean. The staff is extremely friendly. the hotel is in the old town, so it is very convenient to have a walk. After a awlk it was very comfortable to have a private sauna. The breakfast was really plenty.

We arrived a little early but were shown straight to a lovely room on the 5th floor. Comfy seating area, big comfy bed, attractively decorated, spacious, warm with a lovely spotlessly clean ensuite. There was a good bath too - so I was happy! Good lighting, hairdryer and good selection of toiletries. It was quiet and easy to sleep at night. Breakfast each morning was in the basement restaurant area - linen table cloths, changed between every use. Serve yourself - plenty of choices, beautifully presented. fresh fruit salads, yoghurt, fruit juices [and not watered down!], many meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, cooked items, various delicious fresh breads, pastries etc. Couldn't have been better! Teas [various] and coffee - as much as you like. Very generous and all good quality.
Staff all very cheerful, helpful and friendly.
This is a delightful place to stay in Riga.
The hotel is a wonderfully iconic Art Deco building and is right on the edge of the Art Deco area - wonderful architecture, well worth exploring. A walk for 10 minutes, following the water course opposite the hotel brings you into the Old Town. Turn right out of the front door and at the end of the road is the Retro Tram line - pay 2 Eoro on the tram to travel through central Riga to the biggest Market in Europe - well worth a visit.
Along the side street are many restaurants - recommend the Indian for wonderful food at good price too. Higher up the street is a Chines - that was poor and expensive!

Room tip: Higher floors are quieter.
