It is an excellent hotel! We spent a week including new year eve. Everything was perfect. Clean, sports facilities + swimming pool and bowling. Baltic sea not far from the hotel through pine tree forest. In just two blocks several restaurants. In the hotel another great restaurant "Me life". Breakfast is very tasty.

Small hotel with only 20 something rooms. Location in Bulduri was quite remote. Train station was in walking distance (about 500 m), the nearest supermarket (but very good one) was 15 minutes walk away. Sea was near, only 200 meters away. We could hear the sea roaring to the room. Room was nice enough but bed and pillows were basic. Breakfast was very nice with versatile hot dishes. Superb! Very polite staff. There were two fantastic restaurants in the neighborhood. In the very same building there was Balans Spa and Health Club with great massage and other services. 8/10

Seriously impressed with the hotel Amber Spa Botique from the beautifulI surroundings to the very friendly helpful staff plus terrific breakfasts and additional day time meals served in the hotels Mylife restaurant that from the 5 days that I stayed there with my wife and 2 sons I could not possibly find (if I was really looking that is) anything to actually fault! This is without mentioning the use of a very large indoor pool which had the perfect water temperature,a bowling alley plus the chance to rent bikes for a nice family ride along the beautifulI beach of Jurmala. Never really thought of visiting Latvia before but so pleased that I did as it's an amazing destination with many Activities for both young and old and I found the Latvian people to be very hospitable as they would often go out of there way to help!

Room Tip: I'd say the majority of rooms as it seemed peaceful throughout the hotel both day and night!

Quiet and green surrounding. The excellent breakfast. Wide selection of good dishes and famous cheesecakes, first of all. Stuff ready to help you 24 h. All rooms are standart. Spa (considered the best in Jurmala), inside pool, bowling. Park, the sea shore 5 min walk.
Everything was OK, but it obviously shood be mentioned, that the hotel is far away from the city center. It is not a problem, as there is good public transport connection included many buses and train (5 min walk from hotel).
For attention of property owner: there is no hotel's name on the front of the building. It is confusing for visitors

Room Tip: So called standart rooms (Standard Double) are small and suitable for 1 person only not for 2

I stayed in the hotel for a business conference with a small team of 8 people.

I stayed in room 9. The room was generally OK. BUT it was not maintained properly. In detail it had run down furniture, shower facets were not shiny new. TV channels had a very bad picture quality (I guess antenna setup/connection). This is clearly not what to expect for a 4 stars boutique hotel.

In the whole hotel - the water had a unpleasant smell. Many times with the smell of sewage. Don’t know if it is maybe a general Jurmala problem but the hotel should’ve taken care of this with some filters.

In general the facilities are run down and not maintained properly. Swimming pool and gym you can see it not being maintained properly and notice details which gives a negative impression. Weight lifting equipment is very old.

You also get a negative impression of the small things which are important for your hotel experience. They take a 1.5 EUR extra charge if you would like to have another towel for the swimming pool. Why in heaven's sake not include this in the room rate from the beginning? When you return to breakfast after you left once and want another coffee they charge you extra for that. Feels like the management has put in rules for their personnel that destroys your impression of your stay. So I hope the hotel management will read this and improve their ways.

The conference room was very depressing. Felt like sitting in a basement somewhere. And to reach it as well as the restaurant you needed to go through a depressing bowling alley to reach it. Toilets by the conference room and bowling alley were run down as well.
