This is a beautiful hotel on a stunning old building that used house an eclectic selection of shops and restaurants. The newly modelled hotel opened in March 2016 looks brand new. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the standard of housekeeping is superb. Service everywhere in this hotel is first rate with all of the staff being friendly and eager to please. The Bistro Fine which features as the hotel's combined restaurant/bar area is very nice but is also hugely popular with non-residents. As a resident looking for a quiet drink it was sometimes a challenge to find a table as there are only five non-dining tables that sort of constitute the bar/cafe area. I say sort of as sometimes these are also used by diners when the restaurant is really busy. To be fair they always managed to squeeze us in somewhere and I supposed you could always take your drink in the sumptuous lobby area. Breakfast is excellent with everything that one could wish for including champagne, smoked salmon etc. Great location, close to Metro stop and key sights such as the Opera, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Chain Bridge plus just about every designer label and watch brand that you can think of.

WOW! No need to look at any other hotel. I stayed in two inter leading rooms on the 5th floor with my wife and two teenage daughters during December. Everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious and modern. Comfortable beds. The location on Andrassy avenue is fantastic with easy acces to public transport. I can highly recommend this hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent. If this is your price range look no further. We will be back ...

We traveled to Budapest for the start of our river cruise and planned to stay a few (3) extra days prior to starting the cruise package. We could not fault the hotel in any way at all. The rooms are spotless and spacious, with free wifi throughout. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Location makes it easy to see the major sites on this side of the river. We took in the spas at Szechenyi which is a short metro ride away. The staff answered every question we had,(and there were plenty!!).

The breakfast buffet has an extensive choice of food for every taste,(including sparkling wine if you fancy a bucks fizz). This is served in the hotels own restaurant called Bistro Fine, (reservations are recommended. The hotel is situated on Andrassy St, which has all the designer shops along it's route. It is a perfect location from which to explore Budapest, either on foot, by bus or underground. About 3 minutes walk to St Stephen's Basilica.

We were all in a rooms on the 2nd floor, which was really nice. It really doesn't matter where you are situated, there is no noise at all from the streets below.

The only "negative" we had was the lack of closet space. Not really a problem, but when staying for over one night I like to unpack and get things out.

From the moment you walk into the Moments Hotel, you catch your breath and think ‘wow’. The foyer is beautiful and incredibly picture worthy.
Sadly getting to the hotel was a trial. We had driven into Budapest and chosen a hotel in the centre on the explicit information that there would be parking at a specified nearby ‘park house’. There wasn’t. Our options were to park the car and pay street parking (which was non-existent near the hotel) or find an alternative. We drove around the centre of Prague for an hour and a half until we finally found the Opera car park open and with available parking. Three nights cost us 73 EUR.
The opulence of the reception area ends on entering the room. Our room was tiny. It was barely three meters wide. As I was travelling with my son we had requested two single beds. These were tiny to match the space, barely 75cm wide. This would have been acceptable with good mattresses. Unfortunately they were soft, resulting in an insecure feeling that I would fall out every time I rolled over. Even though the room was cleverly divided in to sections giving the appearance of space there really wasn’t adequate room to place two suitcases.
On the positive we found the breakfast fantastic, with everything you could desire even a lovely glass of sparkling wine to start your day exploring beautiful Budapest should you wish to celebrate being there. The hotel also provides coffee and tea free of charge.
Moments hotel is on Andrassy Avenue, which is right in the centre of Budapest. It is a fantastic location, surrounded by Christmas markets, historical monuments, close to the Danube and most things that you would want to see. This was why we chose the hotel, with limited time and so much to explore. It’s location, location, location.

Dear „Gabbi_from_OZ”,

It was a pleasure for us to have you in our Hotel Moments Budapest during your recent visit in our lovely capital. Thank you very much for your precious time taken to share your experiences with your fellow travelers.

I am glad to see that your first impression of our hotel was breathtaking and you loved the interior design of our hotel.

However, I regret to learn about the difficulties you had to face regarding the parking. Please kindly be informed that on our web-site as well as on all other channels we call our guests’ attention to the Erzsébet garage that is located within walking distance from our hotel.
As far as your kind comments regarding the bed’s comfort are concerned, let me kindly inform you that our single beds match the European standards with the width of 90 cm. I am sorry to learn that you did not find them comfortable and wide enough.

Nevertheless, I am glad that you enjoyed our complimentary coffee corner and you enjoyed the lavish breakfast served in the modern Bistro Fine restaurant.

I would like to thank you once again for your kind and balanced review and most sincerely hope that you would not hesitate to choose our hotel again, should your travel plans bring you back to the area.

Sincerely yours,
Judit (jrozsa @ continentalgroup . hu)

We spent four days in Budapest last weekend having booked a good deal with Expedia. There aren't many hotels of this standard for around £60/70 per night B&B in the centre of a City. The hotel is located perfectly for visiting the key attractions in Pest, which also includes of course the Szechenyi Baths which are five minutes on the metro line. The hotel is located on a very classy looking Boulevard, but is tucked away and is like an oasis of calm inside. We had a standard double room which overlooked the rear and was very quiet. All the rooms are positioned around a large covered atrium which really gives it a wow factor. Our room was well laid out with a large wet room and plenty of space in the bedroom for the desk and wardrobe areas. There is no tea and coffee in the rooms, but this is all free for guests in the lobby. The breakfast was very well ranging, featuring a huge variety of food.

The only downside is that the hotel rooms must be set up to either be twin or doubles. This means that when in the double formation you get two large single duvets.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good value, high quality centrally located hotel.

Room tip: If you want a quiet room, then you can't go wrong with one at the rear of the property
