Cannot say enough about this hotel! It was perfect. Our room was so comfortable with an outdoor patio where we could sit in the sun and drink a glass of wine. The breakfast was more than anyone could ask for and the staff was so accommodating. A shout out to "Marcus" who worked the night shift. We came back to the room around midnight our first night and noticed the pillows were downs. Because of allergies we called the front desk as housekeeping was closed. Marcus not only brought us pillows but prepared us a fresh comforter with duvet. That's service!

The gym, pool and spa were wonderful, the upstairs bar was phenomenal and the total decor was simply amazing. And keep in mind you are in the best and most convenient part of town. Helped make Budapest my favorite city!!!

The attention to detail in the design and service is what sets the Aria apart. 49 rooms at the cost of $50 million allows for a surprise around every corner. From the perfect breakfast buffet to the evening wine and cheese you want to spend time at the hotel. The location is steps away from the cathedral so the perfect location. Even if you are not staying there a trip to the roof top bar is a Budapest destination. Nespresso machines in the room. We had a spa treatment that was professional and truly enjoyable. Can't wait to go to NewYork and try their other properties. Oh yea, the rooms were great and the comfort of the bed and linens again was top shelf. I have stayed in many hotels at twice the price and had half the experience. Go to Budapest stay at the Aria and enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

Dear Icedaddy,

Thank you for these great words of appreciation, it is truly a fantastic feeling when we see that our guests enjoed their stay so much, that they provide us such amazing feedback several times!

I couldn't agree more with you, as when I walk along withing the Aria, I also can literally feel the high quality and the great attention to detail that was indispensable upon developing this beautiful masterpiece.

I am sure you will love the Aria in Prague, any of the New York properties or the soon-to-open Hotel X Toronto as much as you loved the Aria in Budapest, if you choose to stay at any of them! Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly via zoltan.k @ ariahotelbudapest. com.

We chose this music-themed hotel because we brought our opera-singer granddaughter with us to visit Budapest. We enjoyed the decor, food, rooms (a bit over the top some would say) and location (next to St. Stephen's where we enjoyed a lovely free concert). We used rooftop bar several times. Breakfasts were wonderful. Only thing to be improved -- service in roof bar. So many waiters, but maybe they did not speak English so waited for the right language waitress to send to get our orders. Maybe also the choice of music blaring in lobby, was not the coolest jazz nor anything classical. But beautiful space, excellent amenities (complimentary afternoon wine and cheese with music!).. Enjoyed a swim in the pool and a stop in the jacuzzi. Really a nice stay.

Room tip: We chose adjoining spaces so our granddaughter could access us, but also have her privacy. This worked out well. Balconies overlooking atrium could be combined or kept separate. One side is opera-themed and one side is jazz-themed.

Dear Charlotte J,

I would like to personally thank you for taking the time and share your detailed comments on Tripadvisor following your recent stay with us here at the Aria Hotel Budapest.

We are truly grateful that both you and your granddaughter chose to stay with us. Mr. Henry Kallan (The owner of the Hotel) never misses to emphasize that he built the Aria as a humble tribute to the opera and opera singers; we hope that your granddaughter also enjoyed her stay and we were able to contribute to her talent in some form of inspiration. Belcanto has been an inspiration not only during the development of this beautiful hotel, but also for the staff and management as we continuously strive to create truly memorable experience for our guests.

Please accept my heartfelt apologies for the slow service in our SkyBar. It has in fact become a favorite destination amongst Budapest’s highlights, due to its breathtaking views over the whole city, creating a vibrant atmosphere which may at times attract a significant number of visitors. We have addressed the issue internally and will certainly control the access to site so that we can provide better service.

It seems a little unfortunate that during your stay we didn’t have Jazz performances because they certainly are amongst our favorites and available on our repertoire. We have the honor of welcoming guests with a diversity of music taste and do try to have a variety of performers from classical to jazz and contemporary according to our theme consisting of four major music genres (Jazz, Classic, Opera, Contemporary) during our wine & cheese receptions.

As the music director, responsible for the overall music entertainment programs in our property, I trust you soon return to the Aria Hotel when I will be happy to ensure to have jazz and classical performances.

Warm regards from Budapest,

Kornél @ AriaHotelBudapest.com
