As lovely as the Chain Bridge is, this one was worthy of its own review. We walked across it all 3 days of our visit (quicker than waiting for a trolley). We loved going across at night time as it turned into a local social hangout place... it was so nice to see people just sitting on the rails, with a beverage or bottle of wine, chatting, laughing.

Seems every bridge in Budapest has a different design and distinct history. Built in 19th Century & the shortest bridge in Budapest with town squares on each side of the river. Lots of shops and restaurants on both sides.

We decided to walk leisurely to explore the city crossing the Danube River. Fair amount of pedestrians going to both directions. You can enjoy view of both Buda and Pest region and many cruise boats and daily boat rides pass by. Beautiful buildings on both sides of the rivers to enjoy. Weather was perfect to stroll during the mid day and it was pleasant experience.
