Hotel is OK for the price. This was our first time in Budapest so can’t compare to other hotels here. Some pros is the decent size refrigerator and our 1 bedroom unit with second bed in living room which was roomy for our family of 4 (2 kids under 4). Full kitchen that was useful as we used the microwave a lot. Onto the cons, there were only 2 full side towels in our room so we had to request for more. We thought they don’t have hand towels but on the second day hand towels appeared. Pillows are huge and thick so very uncomfortable to sleep on. They are squared and bigger than the oven. They are great for back rest if reading or watching TV but oddly size to sleep on. Lastly & most irritating is the key situation. Upon checking in they highly recommend we leave our room key at the front desk when heading out for the day which we did. Coming back from our second day of outing they couldn’t find our room key. We definitely left our room key with the receptionist as I witnessed my husband handing it to receptionist. Anyway, we had picked dinner to go and needed to feed our kids. Took 20 minutes to get security to get spare key for our room. Again, the receptionist asked us to leave the key if we go out again. If they can’t track the room keys correctly or efficiently why bother. This was our second day at the hotel so super inconvenient annoying. So far not impressed!

Stayed here on the 7th June for 4 nights and was very pleased with hotel, location and Budapest. The facilities were excellent and the buffet breakfast had a good selection .
We got the gift of a 30 minute massage to which we excepted and it was Bliss.
Would use this hotel again as location was very central.

Room Tip: We had room 101 on the tower and it was airy and bright with glass windows which let plenty light and sunshine in

We stayed at the hotel in May 2018 in an apartment for two.
The room was equipped with a king's bed, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, television, shower, washing machine and more and every morning the room was cleaned for us.
The reception staff is great and always answers all questions.
In addition, it is possible to buy at the reception tickets to places like: Szechenyi Bath, etc.
The location is great and there are a lot of useful places around like: supermarket, good restaurants and change.
The hotel contains a large pool, jacuzzi and a great gym.

Totally recomended! :)

This hotel is located in the city center close to Octogon. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Good wifi in the whole building and it was for free. The breakfast was totally worth it - an array of fresh fruit, pastries, cereals and a different hot buffet everyday. The best part was the leisure centre & gym facilities. Well maintained and long opening hours. Perfect for relaxing after a busy day out exploring!

Stayed only for a night due to the lack of room availabilities on this particular Saturday.

More like a 2.5 stars for the room— it was a bit below average by the personal European hotel experiences so far. It gets a star for fairly friendly service and a star for location.

However, the room they set us up in “Tower 1” was just felt really rundown. They are pretty overdue for a PIP/ renovation. It was a tiny room even by standards here and did not feel clean. Perhaps it was just the stains on the carpet, stain on the bathroom counter, and half peeled off no smoking sign behind the door that really threw it off. No luggage rack or table that can situate which is a little item of preference.

Windows were closed but because of its location to a number of bars (a plus for nightlife creatures), there were a number of woken moments from the drunken passerby.

Didn’t get to visit the other facilities so can’t comment on those. But overall, it was a doable one-nighter. Good location if you have plans to hit up the area for lots of drinking and want a short walk to bed. The other patrons seem to be of the younger age range so it makes sense.

The other bonus is the very short walk to a 24-hour mini-mart/bodega where I picked up a number of sodas and water.
